Just how painfull is a nose job and whats the worst part of having it done?

I really want a nose job, I have hated my nose since I was 11 or 12, It’s basically like how Katie Price’s old nose used to be and a bit like Cheryl Cole’s is now but it looks too big for my face. I REALLY want to have this surgery, but can anyone tell me what the worst part is as I have heard that when they take the cotton wool out of your nostrils it feels like they are pulling your brain out through your nose. I know this sounds bizarre, but is it true? Thank you so much, any advice truely appreciated! xx

I’ve just had it done and experienced no pain whatsoever, apart from when I came out of surgery my eyes were really sore. Recovering is more so boring than painful and its a bit annoying having the cast on because sometimes it can itch. It doesn’t hurt though from my experience and now I have the cast off I know it was worth being bored for 12 days! When the packing is taken out you can hardly feel it. My dad also worried for me that this would hurt as his friend broke his nose and said it was agony when they took it out, but they coat the packing in vaseline or something so it just slips out (maybe this has changed to make it less painful? it didn’t hurt even one little bit). Its scary looking like you’ve been hit by a bus at first, but the swelling and bruising soon fades and yu’ll be fine

Oh thank you sooo much, having the packing removed was one of my main concerns. I have heard real horror stories about this aspect of having it done and this really did frighten me. You look great! I have my first consultation on the 30th of July.

Yes sure, it was Dr Stefan Gonschoir. He is great! Has lots of people on here that recommend him and are happy with their surgery if you type his name in the search button.

Was it really expensive?

Mine is on the 8th august and is £4300 for closed xx
