hiya hun.. sorry to hear about your mam.. its horrible when they say that to you my mam told me i was stupid too =[ but end ov the day you can never make someone happy all the time.. your mam will have to get used to the fact.. its better then your boyfriend tellin you your selfish for gettin one =[ there ment to be supportive.. but i just have a little cry then think to myself you know what im doin it for me not for them!! so just hold your head up and say to your mam im sorry if i disapoint you but its what i want.. so if you dont approve im sorry but youl have to get used to it.. she might not talk to you for a while but im sure shel come around they always do =] xxx

I really wanted mine done when I was 21 too. I’m now 27 and finally went ahead 2 weeks ago and I am soooo happy. I feel much more in proportion and loads more confident already. It’s the best money I’ve ever spent! Before I had the op I was really self-conscious, used to wear jackets on hot summer days to cover myself up! Wish I had been brave enough to go for it when I was younger.

Well done for telling your Mum. My family still don’t know! I think a lot of people don’t realise that it’s a self-confidence thing. All my close friends know I’ve had the op and have been really supportive because they know it’s something I’ve done 100% for myself and it’s made me so much happier. Hopefully your Mum will realise how much it means to you once she’s over the shock.

HI louise. bless you …. well im now 37 with 3 children …. at your age was also a size 8 and now im a 10/12 and i still have nothing and for years ive gone on about having my bust enhanced!! My mum from being a young age always looked at me and said there were other positive attractive things about myself but here i am still at 37 finally taking the plunge in 11 days . Maybe you could make an album of girls on here same stats before and after and show her the difference and maybe some of their stories maybe then she ll be able to see how different they look in clothes and how much it has increased their happiness. Shes probably mostly scared about complications and also getting yourself into a big financial agreement at a young age .. but if its making you unhappy hopefully she ll begin to understand .. Had mine done on 21st, absolutely in love with them lol they look fab, still very high but I like them like that!!and was pain free after 4 days!!and I was same as u hated my old boobs sooo much and gt fed up of push up bras 24/7!!just go for it you’ll never look back!!luckily I saved all my money before I went for consultation will gt pics on soon xxx

Well i dont think that could have gone any worse! im 21 and my mum still thinks im 12!!

I’m 5ft 8 size 8 32B my mum is 5ft 6 size 10-12 and 36EE as ive said on a post previous she has never been too encouraging on the idea but i finally told her today that i have been to a consultation and all she said was how f**king stupid are you being its just another thing that you can waste your money on it wont make you any prettier wont make you any better whats the point i would be so dissapointed (hate that word!!) if you decide to get one.

Now i don’t know what to do I want one so badly why cant she just be happy for me????

Don’t worry my mum was exactly the same!she didn’t speak to me for a few days then when she realised it was really what I wanted she accepted it!!she’ll come round I was 32a/b and had 410 now a 32dd xxxx

it is so hard to make someone understand when they are so set in their ways, all i could say to you hun is that your mum is your mum and will come round to anything you do if you have your heart set on this do it she will accept it over time, im 21 aswell and just had my ba on tuesday and it was hard tellin my parents. Tell her your sorry shes disappointed but that aint your fault and do what u gota do good luck xxx
