I have been reading the forums and noticed loads of day cases, how did you come about this?

I would if possible find it easier and obviously cheaper to stay in a hotel with my boyfriend the night of my op, rather than stay overnight in the hospital whilst my partner travels home and back again early the next day.

Obviously if i’m not feeling too good i’d stay in the hospital but where does the option come in to it.. is it possible for me to do this with Mr Kazazzi in Doncaster – anyone else done same?

Hiya I have Mr. K and he recommends staying over night cos he uses drains. I dont live far away from Doncaster but will stay in just in case! To be honest I talked to some girls who had him but non has been a daycase!?!

Have you had your consultation with him? I would just ask him if its possible xxx

Oh the option to be a daycase is if you dont live too far away from the hospital – I think its like 30 min drive or so… Please correct me if am wrong girls x

It would’ve been to stay in a hotel nearby – a friend of mine had Kazazzi and on the day of her op decided she wanted to be in the hotel, she got her money refunded but they did say that Kazazzi wasn’t keen on the idea so I just wanted to know whether that was the case or not, it seems so! :)

hey hunny i had a day case, was there for 10am, and left at 10pm, it was perfect for me, as when you got to hotel, (if you dont live close) you are able to sleep without been disturbed!!!!!!!! i was pain free, if there are any problems they will keep you in so dont be worries! x

I’ve opted to stay in the hospital for my op as I was a bit wary of the idea of possible dirty linen etc, at least in the hospital you know everything will be spotless. Plus if you need more meda or have concerns you are there with the people who know best!

    Menu

Are you having under or over? Overs tend to not need drains so day would be fine!

I didn’t want to pay the extra for over night cause I think day would suit me better so speak with your pc! I asked what would happen if you pay for daycase and your drains aren’t clear by discharge and they said to me they would just keep you in anyway free of charge so it makes no sense to me to waste more

Money when the outcome is the same ! Xxx

hi girls – how much do u get off for being a day case £400 or £500???

i thought with £500 vouchers and day case it would be £3250 total but my pc said its £3350 is this right, must be £400 off? x

    Menu

Yes the difference is £400, just checked my day and night rates for highgate. Woooo yay for £500 vouchers! What happens if they decide you need to stay in for the night? Do you then need to pay the extra £400? I’m meant to be a day case but should I save up the extra £400 incase I have to stay? x

    hi ladies,

i had mr k back in May, i had partials half under half over, and was a daycase, i was told Mr K always uses drains no matter what, reduces the chance of blood clotting i think :S

kimbers666, i would think if you had to stay over night because you werent well or something you would get it free? its not really your fault. . . xx
