kazzazi girls…i need this tape off????

om only 2days post op and have another 8 days with this horrible stuff on, has anyone had their’s taken off early or done it them selves?

Oh I know tell me about it, it’s so bloody tight! Are u having it taken off next Monday Jenny in Leeds? It only needs to be on 5 days, were having it on twice as long!

nxt tuesday hun, im gutted! im going to try get in earlier, i spoke to issabell yest and she said between 7 and 10 days was normal. how you feeling? xxx

feeling great, just tired! i know the strapping is doing us good but its so tight and makes them look horrid! lol! xx

I had the strapping on for 7 days and it is not nice, it is itchy and tight, but it helps the implant in the long run. xxx

Does Isabel not work on Fridays? I’ve got my op on a fri so will that mean I will have to wait 10days too? Xxx

They took mine off the day after just before I was discharged. (I stayed over night).. It’s obviously not that necessary if they took it off of me so near to the op.. I can see why you would need it more if you went huge though (I went from 32a – ?? with 340ccs) x

really clairecupcakes?? No Kira, its just because Isabel is off this thurs and fri so we have to wait until week after! Ive also had 340cc from 32a… did the nurses take it off then?

claire, i only had 300 ccs was a 32 aa, kira she does usually its just thats she’s off this wk, and kirsty they do look terrible, cant wait to see what they look like without it! does anyone know exactly why we have it? mr K seems to be the only surgeon that uses it!! xx

I reckon you could take it off yourself to be honest. They’re not gonna fall off or out lol xxx

its just an extra support for us isnt it.. its a good wrap i suppose. Im ok with it at the mo so im gonna see how i get on but i was told it only needs to be on 5 days so i may attempt to take it off wed xx

The one thing I HATE about mya is there are no rules everything is hearsay.. one surgeon says get macom bra another says don’t need to wear a bra at all… One says keep tape on another says it makes no difference… I’m deffo putting it in my customer questionnaire

and i realllly want to see them!

I mean I have found more out on here and by ringing the girls I have ‘met’ on here up for advice.. rather than facts I have (more like haven’t) been given by surgeon/nurse x

mya just want the cash, and to be fair, each surgeon has their on preferences to what you should and shouldnt do, who is your surgeon claire? xx

I’m booked in with Dr Adamu and he doesn’t use anything, he said not to even wear a sports bra he literally just puts a small waterproof plaster over both of the scars!?! everyone I have spoke to who has had it done with other companies have had to wear corsets or body suits….it does seem bizarre than Mya do not operate the same across the board.

claire iv added you, hope you dont mind! missy they dont seem to, i was told to buy a primark sports bra, and that i didnt have to wear it with the strapping! xx

Me too!! So have we made a decision?! Lol!! I must admit, I have learnt alot from the girls on here, the bibles and different groups. Don’t think I’d have been as confident without this forum

Haha oh i remember that horrid stuff. Gave me an allergic reaction ugh. Kept it on the full 7 days though.. was soooo relieved to have it off and wear my sports bra x

I took my own off at home on day 3 (well my bf did, I was in agony!) I had an allergic reaction and came up in blisters on my chest. I def would have kept it on otherwise, its tight but made them feel secure! Follow your nurses advice hun, give her a ring if youre not sure xx

I took mine off on day 3 but I had Dr Singh so maybe it’s different tape. He told me to keep it on for 3 or 4 days and the nurse at the hospital said until my check at 8 days post op so I just kept the bottom tape on x

i actually hate it, iv been picking and picking so i can scratch, im so tempted to take it off, dont want to damage them though,,,xxx

The tape Mr Kazazzi used gave me massive blisters on my back that I still have the scars from a year later. My tape came off the morning after my op due to this and the emergency nurse just told me to make sure I wore a bra

oh really sam1973? You must have had a reaction to tape im guessing.. i suppose as i have no blisters yet i should be ok.. Jenwal, i bet you have taken it off by end of today! lol!!

Yes I did, but to be honest I didn’t mind, as having the tape on for one night was uncomfortable enough
