Hey hun I started using kelo-cote-scar-gel-15g from around 6-12 wks post op I think as I was worried . It did help to flatten the scars and lighten them. I went through a tube a month as I had a mini uplift so applied it around my nipples as well (they were cut and sewn back on)
I think it really helped in the first few months post as my scars were raised. I haven’t used it for about three months and I’m nearly 11 months post op now. I started using natural products (organic coconut oil, castor oil and shea butter) to help with the darkness as I felt they got worse after I got back from two week holiday despite wearing factor 50. By then the scars were flat. U can get kelocote gel with an sprouting it, but u have to really search online. U only need a little but but have to wait for it to dry before getting dressed. Thts why I couldn’t be bothered with taking it on holiday because I was always on the go. Hope tht helps
