Hun I am in the same boat, 13days post op….feeling fab can move my arms around etc, I did some squats and sit ups which were fine, but now I want to go back to spinning, my main concern is sweat, I am expanding by the minute, prob because I am eating cake after cake!! no gym for me makes me fall off the wagon completely! x

Haha i am exactly the same! before my op i was constantly doing fitness dvds, yoga classes, got my own excercise bike, now i am sat like lump of lard on the sofa depressed because i can just imagine all this fat starting to form!! i think the best way not to put weight on whilst you cant move is to just resist all those chocolates and crisps! and to just eat healthy food!! xx

amanda I am turning into a obese ball of fat! 2 weeks out, prior to the op I was spinning or boxing every day, now I’m sitting and eating!! ARGHHHH…does anyone know if sweating will affect my healing? I want to go spinning, I feel well enough just worried about the sweat on my scabs! xx

Lol! I would just try and make sure that everything you eat is healthy lol i cant talk tho i have all these easter eggs in the house omg! If i were you id speak with a nurse and ask her if sweat would affect them, i doubt it will to be honest xxx

Well, I’m back from my first session back at the gym and only did half an hour on the bike. I lay down to do some litle sit ups and got scared because of my scars so just stopped and came home. Think I’ll join the squatting club with you guys. X
