Sorry to post a million times and ask a squillion questions but I’m just curious…for all you ladies who had kids to look after how did you cope after op? Did it get easier day by day. I’ve got help for a week but other than that I’m pretty much on my own. Xxx

Don’t think I’m going to get a week tbh, my hubby has to get back to work and so will probably only take a couple days off. Gna be hard but I’m sure it will be worth it :-) x

Hello, i had 2 days, firsd day home my bf was off work, and then the second day the mother in law had him all day. He si 11 mo so needs carrying downstairs, lifting ect. After that second day i actually felt fine doing everything, i just had to make sure he didnt jump on me and bang my boobs. Lifting him i just made sure i held him under the armpits and out, rather than close to me. Im w n half weeks post op and i still have to lift him this was a still a bit tender. I didnt have implants tho just uplift so it may be different for you and u may not feel comfortable lifting at all. Just take it easy in that first week and heal heal heal and i think u will be fine xxx

i was very lucky as my partner is home for the summer holidays and my mum is on hand as shes a teacher so off aswell, i have a 32month old and a 15month old, i am currently 16days post op and personaly i can move my 15month old about if need be but i cant pick up my eldest as i dont feel ready to just yet, thankfuly he can walk about on his own and things (but he is a mummys boy and always wants holding!)

i guess everyone is different, just try and lift them as little as possible for the first couple of weeks, take things as steady as you can!

    xx
