Hi Ladies, I could do with some advice!

I am two days post op, and I am really struggling with this vest. I’m only 5’2″ and have a really short torso, so I can barely walk! It’s not the pain, it’s because it is so long I can’t move!

It’s really tight around my hips and ribs (I have a big rib cage and wide hip bones), but because a smallish waist and feel like its actually quite loose around the areas I had Vasered, which cant be right – yet its crushing my ribs. It’s agony at night. as my back is being forced into an unnatural position as I have quite a dramatic curve there between the waist and bottom – Its being forced to be straight – although again I can feel there is a gap between my body and the vest in the areas I have had vasered.

How much can I cut off this vest? How long is it supposed to be?

My concerns are that 1) if its not pressuring the areas I have had Vasered, it’s not doing any good anyway, and 2) I have fallen down the stairs this morning (and I think I have fractured my finger in the process), as I can’t move well – and when my bf goes back to work tomorrow I am essentially chair bound until he returns!

There was a mix up with my follow-up appointment which should have been tomorrow, but is now rescheduled for Tuesday, and I cant cope another 2 days like this!

    Hi!
Days one and two were the worst for me. And that vest…..

Sorry. Not sure why it does that! I would wait till you see the nurse. Although I cut mine at the top, back so it fitted under the Spanx suit.
Whilst my hubby was at work I would sit on the bed and watch tv, or read. Felt easier to get up from the bed than the sofa. But I got better from day 3 onwards.
I would also take a stronger painkiller overnight as it knocks you out. Wish I had done it sooner!! X
