LadyC's boobie story :D

Good evening Girls, i hope everyone is well and havin a nice evening.

I woke up this morning at 6.25am to pack my bag, iron my clothes and do a quick tidy, i think this was the nerves kicking in (i dnt normally iron haha)

Anyway, my parents turned up at 7am as my mum was looking after my kids and my dad, sister and my niece came with me to the hospital family day out lol .

we left mine at 7.20am and got to the hospital at 8am…. had to hang around for 50minutes before i could go into the hospital. Filled out a form then waited in reception until a room was ready… 9.30am i was shown to room 205

got comfortable and met my nurse ‘MO’ awesome women, asked me a few questions about meeee then asked me when my last period was.. 2 yrs ago i said, so she went and got me a pregnancy test just to check i wasn’t up the duff and told me to pee in a container and leave the results by the door… ok i sat on the toilet and couldn’t pee.. HELLO I HAVE NOT HAD WATER FOR 3 HRS ALMOST, i just couldnt pee.. finally after running the tap for 10mins i pee’d, (negative) well happy as if i couldnt pee my Op may off been postponed!

Mr Adamo came into my room at 10am and doodled on me, asked me to fill in my consent form and told me he will see me in 45mins to an hour. Mo came back in and gave me the password to the WiFi x

another nurse who’s name i did not get came in and took my weight, height and bp, then said to me “are you ready” OMG WOW i looked at my family (by this time by BF had turned up) and i said “Going now to get me some boobies see you all soon”

Walked to a room next to the theatre, still not feeling excited, and my nerves started to kick in, spoke with the anethetist then walked into theatre and laid on the bed. starred at the ceiling, whislt the anethetist and another nurse were putting pads on my arms and back, and the tube for the injection, saw Mr Adamo briefly and he smiled, then nurse put a mask over my face and told me to think off Happy things, first thing that came into my head was my kids…. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Woke up with the nurse saying something, i think she was calling my name, and felt like a mummy, i was so wrapped up in blankets to keep warm so i didnt start to shiver, anyway finally opened my mouth to speak and my throat hurt, so got a drink from the nurse who then pulled my gown down to have a peak at my new boobies which are 365s HP. Nurse gave me lots off water and we chatted for a while until i went back to my room.

By this time my family had made themselves very comfy and at home in my room with Tea’s/coffee, biscuits and soft drinks.. i was laughing as we entered my room about what i dont remember…. and gave everyone a flash off my boobies!!

wow this is getting to be a long story so i wont bore you anymore xx

I would like to say to all you pre op girls Please don’t worry!!! it is SOOOOO EASY AND QUICK. its not worth woryinG or getting worked up over, its just great, everyone who i came into contact with today was just amazing!!!! i am one happy girlie xx

When you said you didn’t shiver, thats just reminded me, when I had my appendix removed I woke up shivering like mad, I was proper shaking will that happen again? What if I damage my noobies??? xx

nikibockerglory when i got back to my room my legs wouldnt stop shaking!!! they were literaly jumping off the mattress!! nurse and bf told me to drink plenty off fluids.. luckily it all calmed down x x x

Congratulations hun Great story and the more i read these the more i feel at ease. I have 12 weeks to wait and sometimes when you have a long time you think too much (well i do anyway!)

thank you girls…. I must admit they feel rock solid at the mo, reminds me off when i was breastfeedin my kids, how my boobs would fill up and go solid with milk..

Lovely to hear your story and glad that all has gone well. Can’t believe that’ll be me this time next week!! I wondered if I would feel like I did when my ‘milk came in’, lol, now I know what to expect!!
