Large shooting pain in my right arm pit please help!!!!

Hey guys I had my BA on Tuesday,

Everything’s been fantastic hardly any pain but when sleeping las night I moved my right arm

And got a bloody horrible pain in my arm put ..

It’s not constant but if I move in a certain way (can’t explain It because

It doesn’t happen often and I can’t seem to think what I’m actually doing)

I get an almighty shooting pain,

I don’t think it is anything just concerned.

It’s bearable it could just be that my boobs are starting to change

Can feel them getting ‘naturaller’ (not tight) by the day.

Has anyone else experienced this as I don’t want to phone MYA for no reason

I’m no hypochondriac haha xxx

I wouldnt worry about it hun. I also get shooting pains in both of my armpits! And my right boob is much more sore and swollen xx

Thanks stef I think it’s cause I’ve been lucky I stopped my pain killers day 2 cause I don’t need them it’s all bearable

And last night I thought my skin was tearing in my arm pit it was that sore.

I have been getting shoowing pains across my left boob since the op (10 days post op now) and stopped painkillers after 3 days. My left arm feels really heavy and less mobile than my right and I have a pain in the armpit which feels like my clothes are digging into me. Have also had a lot of pain on walking when I go out, it’s always worth a call to the nurse if you’re worried but I am hoping it’s all part of the healing process. My nurse and surgeon who I saw on Thursday said there’s nothing causing it for me to worry about and it will go on it’s own. wish I knew when though! Hope you’re feeling better soon x

Thanks hun well my post op appointment is Tuesday and I’ve not felt it since last night so I think it’s just all part of the process but will mention it then , I’m probs worried cause other than being sick on day two I’ve been relatively pain free. Xx

I am beginning to think we will all get the pain hit us at some point, there seems to be no escape!

Hey amychristina, yes i had that too in my right boob and pit lol

It was horrible and i felt like i couldnt do anything without the shooting pain coming back. And it was really bad when i was cold and my muscles in my chest would tighten up and the pain was constant then. But dont worry, I am day 12 now and i havent had that pain since about day 7/8 so it does go. Just try and relax as much as possible and take care x
