Last Post – GOODBYE GIRLIES

Well girls!

Firstly I want to say a massive thank you to all you girls who have really helped me since I signed up in October! You have all been great! Doubt I’d of went through with the op if it wasn’t for this forum.

I leaving the forum for a while

Reason being- my scars are taking a while to heal, I seen the nurse at 6 days po, scars were healing fine but a bit raw so steris back on!

Went back to see nurse yesterday at 12 days po, right side still a bit raw at the end, so steris strips back on, can have a shower on Wed and remove strips myself but have to go back on Friday for another check up (3rd time!!) to be discharged and make sure I’m ok for work on Monday as I have a physical job.

I know the nurse is trying to look after me and I should be grateful but I feel so depressed as I have never heard of girls having to go to see the nurse so much about “raw” scars… don’t even know hat raw means!!

Also many girls who had their ops on or around mine are looking great, like Debs and Christine and Lisa!

I’m really happy for you girls but can’t keep coming on seeing how well your all doing, because it pushed me further down in the dumps.

I’m leaving my pictures on and also I will keep adding people as for some reason I get notifications to my phone bout people adding me or pms!!

Aww Hunn I really hope you feel better soon and do come back when your feeling better! I had to go see the nurse many times post op too Hunn so I know how it feels. My scar was raw too and I feared I had an infection so they put me on anti biotics. I’m all healed and living my boobs now so gang in there! All the best x

Aw Fairy, that is sad, but i know what you are saying, must be hard to see others healed when you have not yourself, but like everyone else says, you will heal, your boobies really are amazing, dont regret it, as im sure in time you will laigh about it. I remember giving birth and thinking, i aint doing that again.lol. 22 months later, their i was giving birth haha..

Im dreading seeing nurse tomorrow, as scars a little tender to day, bloody bra agravates them. I hope to see u back on here soon. ping me if u need me. xx

I say the same as other girls, it is just mixed emotions and i’m sure you’ll feel fine eventually – I still have the occasional pissed off day with mine but it’s becoming less and less often.. hope you’re okay xx

Just wanted to say, my scars are still quite purply red, 3 months post op, so it’s not just you, some people just heal better than others.

Surgeon said they are fine just healing slowly and to be honest although they are still sore you can’t see them when looking straight on at me so hopefully it doesn’t matter that they are taking their time.

Hope you feel better soon sweetheart, youve put your body through a big change so im sure its hard when its taking time to heal. I think every body thinks thats once its done everything will be perfect. And its like preparing to get married all the nerves and prep before hand and then wen its dun and dusted theres a big anti climax…..be sure to let us all know wen you feel better, as youve been very kind in sharing your pics and story THANKYOU xxx

i know how your feeling hun i’m not on the forum as often at mo as i kept comparing my op and healing to everyone else and was getting me down just got back from a weekend away and i it was lovely to think of something else instead of boobs im sure when u settle back into work and start shopping for the summer things will look up. would die for a figure like yours!!! xxx

Quick update- so i had my shower- took off my strips. My left scar is totally healed and a bit scabby. Looks a bit rank on the pics, but ive fully inspected it and its closed just a few scabs on top lol. My right looks ok. Just got a lil bit of a graze type wound at the end. I now know what nurse means by raw. Anyway i uploaded abfew pics. I put steris back on till i see the nurse friday. Seeing them has took a bit of the weight off my mind. As they dont look half as bad as i imagined. Few more days or a week they should be a bit better.

Anyway girls can u have a look and my pics and tell me what u think. If they look bad tell me they do rather than sitting at ur laptop/phone going errrgh then posting on ere they look great cos i know they dont.(pleas dont bullpoo me) .

Had a look hun and yes they do look a bit sore but nothing major i promise. My scars looked like that up until 3-4 months po. They will heal babes, u like me obviously just heal slower than some xxx

Aside from it looking a bit tender still, like the others say, I think they’re looking like proper perky puppies. Be proud of them hun!! xx

Fairy, i did exactly the same and it did me the world of good. It just takes the pressure for your boobs to look instantly perfect off for a while and allows u time to just heal at your own rate. Take it easy huni xxx

I honestly don’t think they look bad babe! Mine were similar until about 5 weeks post op but they didn’t bother me as much as my scars are hidden in my crease. Which wasn’t great for healing at least yours are getting ‘aired’ I think they’ll be looking much better in a few weeks, your still very early post op. Hang in there xx

Thanks hunnis. Ive came bk on today feelca bit better after seeing them. They werent half as bad as i thought!! They are closed and neat and good really. They just have a few scabs in the ends of the left one and a small raw bit on right one. I had a good inspection today and feel better. Hopefully they will close nicely.
