Hi girls, just got out the shower and patted my boobs dry with a towel & there was a tiny splodge of yellow fluid on the towel. I blotted with tissue (it’s literally a tiny bit) but worried?!
Have attached a photo, there’s a stitch still hanging out & this incision doesn’t seem as closed as the other one?

Hi Lucy I’m in the same situation, I’m almost 2 weeks post op and one incision has a small leaky but which doesn’t seem as closed as the rest.. a bit worried, gona ring the nurse on Saturday if it doesn’t go away. FiancΓ© says it’s nothing but I really want it swabbed for infection for peace of mind πŸ™ xx

Hi Lucy seen you on hear loads have never spoken tho same thing happened to me on Monday I was 4 weeks 4 days post op very little yellow stuff came out seen my nurse that day she put inalienable strip and covered it till yesterday went there yesterday she still wasn’t happy with it as it looked like a little hole but no more leaky fluid so she had a little poke about and actually pulled out a little stitch knot! Apparently these dissolvable stiches are causing lots of problems like this so don’t worry! She has now covered it again with inadine and a new dressing and I go back next Wednesday for my 6 week check! The last couple of hours it’s feeling really itchy which I can only assume that it’s healing( thank god) just go get it checked all will be fine huni xxxx

They told me leaking is expected for up to 21 days but never any harm in getting it checked out! Xox

She said the same to me about the knot of the stitches so I’m not too worried πŸ™‚ xxxxx
