Leaving the forum…

Sorry girls, just heard something that’s really put me off MYA and the use of this forum. I’m not going to repeat it but I don’t feel comfortable being on here anymore.

I really wish I could have helped the girls who need the help like I did before my BA. And I wish each and every one of you all the best with your healing and your procedures.

nothing to do with the surgeons hun. I can’t fault Mr Fallahdar, I’m very happy with the results of my BA. But am removing myself from here xx

From what her comments said, maybe she had problems with the people on the forum rather than with the surgery? – hopefully xx

Aww that’s a shame as she’s been really helpful hope nothing bad happened. Did she give any clue why? Maybe she just doesn’t have the time now she’s post op and is a bit busy? Xxx

she didnt really say she said ‘for reasons i wont repeat’ or something similar, she said it wasnt down to the surgeon as he was great but that wall all she said? xx

Don’t assume holly was having problems with the members holly is a very strong character and would not let any member chase her away,if she has an opinion she is not afraid to voice it,she has a lot of work on at the moment perhaps her time is limited,good luck with everything holly,you will be missed,xxx

Hollyhotpants said that it was to do with something bad she has found out about MYA, and the forums. She didn’t want to repeat what she heard but is leaving because of it…. (For those who didn’t see original post) xx

Ok, I don’t know who or even if it’s 100% factual but aparantly there’s a snake on the forum. This person aparantly befriends us girls and passes info back onto head office.

That’s all I’ve been told. Nothing more n nothing less. X

I suppose if they need support during their surgery journey’s they are as entitled as any one of us to use the support network,they are still having procedures after all.

MYA mod will see everything that is posted on the forum anyway so I cant see what difference that would make.xxx

Girls, had to log back in and post, as I see you’re all getting quite worried. Apologies I didn’t intend to freak anyone out. And if it was something that would have affected everyone I would have told u straight. But I just felt that as I have befriended so many on here, it was only right to tell you I was leaving the forum rather than just dissappear. I have spoken to MYA and they have assured me that my concerns are not right. However, I still feel that it’s time for me to go from here! I’ve asked the mod to get rid of my account, as when I delete it, it just deletes everything, doesn’t actually close it down.

Please stop panicking..

I agree with what you’ve just said but if this is true I can see why it would make some girls feel uncomfortable. If there are staff on here it would be much better if they said who they are and that they worked for MYA. No one really knows anyone in here but quite a lot of us become ‘good friends’ I suppose if the ‘good friends’ turned out to be MYA staff you’d feel pretty betrayed. X

mini I totally agree with you,if you do work for MYA then best to let the friends you add know,Ive been here a long time and many occasions members have asked me do I work for MYA,mainly because I praise them a lot and recommend them,I do this because in my own opinion they are better than other companies that I have used. I have had a good experience with MYA that dose’nt mean to say everyone will,due to personal circumstances,everyone’s situation is different,but just in case anyone is wondering I don’t work for MYA,I have never worked for MYA,but if anyone does work for MYA and you are in my friends list could you let me know please. You will still be welcome,but I prefer to know xxx

mya would be crazy if they didnt have spies on here, I guess it’s the perfect pr and market research base.

I don’t just add willy nilly so I doubt anyone on my list would be. Lol. Tina, you should work for them. You are really helpful and give so much advice and reassurance to people on here. You’d be an asset. X

I dont.actually care if mya do have people on here! probably safer for us girls because when any trouble kicks off they can get rid of the posts and the people involved.

i prefer to know some of the members on here are mya workers and welcome them as i have nothing to hide

its also a fab way for them to improve their service as if we knew we were talking to a pc we would hold back a bit but.on here even though none of us know eachother we speak our minds- more so than we would to pc/mya themselves therefore the problem pc and clinics may get resolved

is that actually true that MYA People are on here? Its false advertsing if they are because its problerally them that write all the good post like mya are amazing… and true people saying how bad there customer services are!! I dont know what to think now!

My PC told me that lots of the MYA staff look on the forum. To be honest, if there was a forum for where I worked with all the gossip on, I’m sure I’d be looking!! I don’t know anything about them ‘posing as people’ on here. I can’t imagine they’d do that? xx

I know MYA staff look at the forum. I heard MYA staff are ‘members’ posing as pre/post op girls. MYA mod has denied this so we’ll have to take her word for it. I don’t have a problem if there is staff on here. I do think though it’d be unfair and misleading to members who have been befriended by the staff and led to believe these are genuine forum members looking at having surgery etc.

I have met some great people on here who I now class as my friends and speak to off the forum. If later down the line I discovered they worked for MYA I think I would be pretty peeved and would feel betrayed. X

Looking back on this thread MYA mod did’nt actually make a comment as to whether or not MYA staff are on the forum for genuine reasons ie having a cosmetic surgery procedure,she just said she was concerned about the thread and we could pm her if we are worried,she did not state that staff were or were not here.xxx

That’s quite bad really! Since iv been on here i’v spoke to a few people and it does really help along the way with the knowledge you girls have about this as most have been through it! I can’t thank the girls enough who have chatted to me and answered the questions I was wondering about and it does make you feel like you have actually made a new friend! I hope the whole of this post doesn’t effect that! xx

Oops sorry. I meant holly hot pants spoke to someone at MYA n they said it weren’t true. Next time instead of trying to remember what previous posts said ill go back and check so I don’t make a mistake like the above. Lesson learned. X

I dont think it will girls,if MYA mod as told hollyhotpants that it is not true,then I believe it,Mya mod after all is respected by all and would have no reason to lie to the members,what is important right now is that we continue to support each other,I have made some wonderful friends here and even now they have left the forum and are living there lives with new found confidence and beautiful boobs,they still keep in touch,I love this forum,I feel so lucky to be here.xxx

Yeh same here Tina! It’s so good to talk to someone who knows exactly how you feel. For me I’m in a bad place with my parents and decided not to talk to them because they way they were being (completely the opposite to family) other then that I have my other half and one friend who knows how I feel, it does really help me being on this site, I feel like I fit in and I’m never judged by any of you I just feel like I can relax and be myself, this forum is a god send for me! xx
