hi people just wondered if you can help. was told that with the naturals you get life time aftercare. i read on a website that this means 10years (life time of the implant not the patient)

if myas policy is the same i feel a bit annoyed that they word it in a way that you feel you have life long cover :(

am not sure about the time,, but i was told you are only covered for the cost of the implant not the full op etc.. and the implants have to be sent to the manufactures after your op for them to decide if they are ruptured and you then recieve the value of the implant.. it is very mis-leading.x

I was told that 10 years is the lifetime of the implant. However it doesn’t necessarily mean that in ten years they will need to be replaced.

As far as I know the CUI’s have a 10year guarantee of the implant and the natrelle implants have a lifetime guarantee. But the mya aftercare is 5years I think xx

10 year/ lifetime is the same thing as it means lifetime of the implant which is 10 years. Or am I mistaking? X

Hi, just thought I’d share this, if your still not sure..

I asked one of the PC’s at mya yesterday and she said that natrelle’s have a lifetime rupture guarantee of the implant, and they will pay £700 towards the cost of the surgery if they rupture within the first 10years. Then after that its just lifetime rupture guarantee of the implant and you pay for surgery yourself.

CUIs just have 10years rupture guarantee altogether.

MYA after care- 5years cover from date of surgery, for corrective surgery, hospital accommodation & replacement of implants if capsular contracture occurs.

    And 3years cover for revision.

    hope this helps xx
