im still thinking when to book my ba! ive got a one year old and a two year old and obviously have to lift them in and out of the car etc just wondered how you managed? also after ba can you do normal everyday things cleaning , cooking and things or do are you too uncomfortable? im scared to get it done because dont wanna split my scars open lol! my husband works really long hours. any advice would be great xxx
im 3 days post op. You definately wont be able to lift small children! You arent supposed to lift your arms above your head, for example, i cant reach for a glass out of the cupboard! You really need someone there 24/7 to help with things like getting dressed and getting washed etc xxx
I agree, i couldn’t lift my son until about week 4 but he’s a bit older so it wasn’t an issue. I had 24/7 help for a week and then my mum helped out until the end of week 3.
Didn’t clean until week 4 either and then could only do a little at a time otherwise i’d be so sore.
Can’t hoover until nearly 6 weeks and still can’t pull up a line of washing at 7 weeks.
