Hey Chrissyp, I didn’t lift my little girl- also 1- until 2 weeks post op, but I had uplift too. Try to avoid it for as long as possible. My daughter more or less fell out with me when I wouldn’t pick her up for the first week!! She started ignoring me and going straight to my hubby! Broke my heart, but she is back to her “cling to mummy” self now! We had lots of cuddles though xxx
My little boy is 6 months and want to have it as soon as before he starts wanting to be picked up all the time .. i can entertain him when hes lay down at the moment! x
Aw bless! Well my little boy is a proper mummys boy!Lol! He can follow me around ok and is almost walikng – just more concerned about getting him into the car – those car seats are bl@*dy awkward at the best of times! Should be ok for the first 2 weeks though as its half term so I can stay in the house if necessary (will be tearing my hair out though!) I was worried it might have been the full 6 weeks – Phew! thanks tiarastara xx
