Hey girls! quick question! my manager won’t let me take off two extra days after my op so it looks like I’m going to have to travel back to work 7 days PO which is a 2 hour train journey and then 2 tubes and a bus. problem is that I will have a suitcase with me from my week at home from my op.

do you think I should find someone to help me carry the suitcase from the station to my house for me? I’m not sure whether I’ll do damage if I’m lifting it on and off the train/tube/bus and I have my strapping off at 3pm the same day?

It won’t be a big case, just a small weekend one but I’m better safe than sorry I guess! Thank you 🙂 xxxx

Hey hun I’ve not had my up yet but I have a baby who is 1 in two weeks and I’ve been told no lifting until after 2 weeks which is going to be really hard. It may be best to get someone to help you as you don’t want to put strain on yourself and add pressure to your incisions. Call your pc to make sure x

Wow – I was told no heavy lifting for 6 weeks (I have a 3 year old) especially as I am having partials, they need to settle in their pockets and the muscles will be sore.

If you can get help I definitely would do – I wouldn’t risk damaging anything! xx
