lifting at work after ba

Hi, just a quick question, I’ve got my letter off my surgeon saying I’ll be unfit to work for two weeks after my op but I know that you can’t lift for around 6 weeks afterwards but I’m a supervisor in primark and so my job consists a lot with helping to unload delivery and giving stock to staff to put out which I know there’ll be no way I can do….how can I tell work this though when that letter doesn’t say anything about after the two weeks or anything, or will I get a doctors note? I don’t have any holidays left to take or I would just do that there’s no way I’m risking damaging myself but will be as much use as a chocolate fireguard to them so feel a bit guilty haha xxx

Hi hun I do alot of lifting in my job .. All the girls no I’ve had a BA so have given me all the lighter duties ..maybe go to you doctor and ask if he can give you a letter explaining u are unable

To lift for 6 weeks and hope at work there be understanding ? Xxx
