hi, just wanted to ask any mummies out there whove had a ba and/or nipple lift how they got on afterwards in relation to pick up their kids? i have a 3 year old and 18 month old and my fiance can only have the day immediatley after my op off. im worried how im going to get my youngest into her cot and bath and how i will get them into their car seats when i can drive.

Not to mention the fight we have getting them into shopping trolleys, high chairs, pushchair etc!! xx

it took me two whole weeks before i could even start to resume normal things, and over 18 days before i could drive and pick my son up (hes four, but a small four), everyone heals differently, im usually really fast, but my reaction to the GA had knocked me for six, and even took over the two weeks for my bruise from the caunnula to go (usually bruises last a few days max), id ask for more help off someone, if you can, its not as easy as people say xx

I’d agree Joanna, I thought I’d be able to pick her up as she is only 8lb (she was a prem baby) but I wouldnt even attempt it, although I have been cleaning the kitchen floor this morning and cleaned the bathroom haha…somethings I just can leave! I do think I could drive, but I’m not going to attempt it until my stitches are out…..I did have overs though, and they tend to heal faster and are less painful xx

Hi, I had my op on Monday, I have a three year old and a 5month old. My mum has Been here to help and husband helps a lot on a night. I am hoping that I can pick my baby up next week tho, after I’ve been for my tape off, as my mum is going on holiday so I’ll be on my own during the day. Feeling ok and I have been able to do other stuff like play with my eldest, just don’t want to lift anything too heavy yet.

I have two small kids simillar age & I’ve really struggled to the point that my mum came on the second day & took them away to her house for a week!

I was in such a pain that I couldn’t even feed or dress myself for the firs 4-5 days, never mind looking after the little children. I definitely wouldn’t be able to lift baby out of the cot for at least 10 days..

You need to get some help huni, don’t risk damaging your boobs.. xx
