Little bit of bleedy from scars…..is this normal?

Hi girls

I have a little bit of blood showing through my dressings on both sides! One side is about the size of a 5p and was there before I left hospital at 11 (nurse said it was ok) the other is about an 1 inch long and has appeared since I have got home! I have marked the edge with a pen just to see if it gets bigger!

Did anyone else have this? Xx

i would go see your nurse hunn it doesnt sound normal to me. i’m sure it’s nothing to worry about but it’s best to be safe xx

It’s normal hun. I bled abit the next day home and called my nurse and she goes it’s normal for first day or so. X

Nurse phoned me to check on me anyway so I mentioned it and she said that it was fine and as long as it was not dripping or getting any bigger then it is ok!! Said just to keep checking tonight that it doesn’t get any bigger.

I have just taken my Macom off and rubbed som cream on top and it felt brilliant ha! They gave me ice bags to put on them in hospital that felt nice too, gonna get some frozen peas tomorrow!
