hi girls went ffor my pre op yesterday and i got told to take an overnight bag as I could be last on yhe list and may need to stay over night i really dont want to stay overnight thats the reason I was a day case …………anyone else been told this? xxxx

Mellissa if they are gonna keep you in for free take it hun! I was in at preston and it is such a lovely clean and comfy hospital! They said i could stay over for free as i wasn’t feeling well but my boyfriend had been waiting for me for the best part of 12 hours bless him and felt guilty as he would have had to have come back the next day for it.

Wish i had stayed though cos the beds are sooooo comfy and keep you propped upright without the pillows and you get waited on hand and foot. You feel really rough after the GA and if you have the choice to stay over do it…the drive home wasnt all that fun but i would have been fine the next day! Good luck xx
