Some of the comments are LUDACRIS! My comment is the newest one ‘Becca, Glasgow’ and I had my implants just over a year ago. I am being ironic in my comment and putting some of the judgemental people’s “views” into other aspects of life.

It really annoys me when people are like “you came up with the money for surgery in the first place so you should be able to do it again” eh, actually it took a LOT of work and effort to get the money just like those who save for a car, crash it then can’t afford to buy a new one.

It makes me so mad!! People saying well you took the risk when you had surgery..well yes she did, same as we all have and I accepted the risks surgery when I signed the consent. This isn’t a risk of surgery, this is a company that has been deceitful, money grabbing and downright negligent. This lady, same as all the other ladies with pips thought she was having safe silicone put inside her, not flamin mattress filler!! She was given false information and I’m pretty sure none of these ladies would have chosen to go ahead if they knew what was actually being out in them! Gggrrrrr these people are just so narrow minded and judgemental! Call me vain of you want but I had a whole cup size difference in my boobs, what an outrage I wanted to get it fixed, how dare I want to be able to look at myself in the mirror and feel confident!! Grrrrrrrr xx

The Daily Mail comments annoy me so much, I’d guessed you were on about them before I even clicked the thread! I actually find it worrying that so many people seem to have such horrible and judgemental opinions about this and other things. The comments are ususally so one-sided, good for you going against them! x

Infection is a risk of surgery, loss of feeling is a risk of surgery, rupture in rare cases is a risk of surgery, reactions to the ga is a risk of surgery….having industrial grade silicone put into your body cos the manufacturers are lying, cheating bleeps is not a risk of surgery!! Sorry ill get down off my high horse soon, people like that just infuriate me, it’s all so black and white to them, well it’s not to me! Xx

Also don’t think the nhs should foot the bill though. The companies who carried out the surgeries should be forced to remove and replace for free xx

Yea I know amy I agree too, but it’s not the womens fault a lot of them are not footing the bill, I don’t agree the NHS should have to replace them if the companies are not, but think NHS should take the dangerous ones out at least if the companies who supplied them refuse, this would probably cut their costs of people getting sick and costing the NHS probably more in the long run.

However MYA IS replacing their like 40 PIP patients! So MYA are ace xxx

The nhs has agreed to remove but not replace i think. Don’t get me wrong i dont think its your fault at all and i believe the companies should be made to remove and replace for free whether they have ruptured yet or not, whether they like it or not! They made money off them and should sort it out! And yep i agree MYA is fab for doing this and think it says alot about the comapany xx

Lol I never had the PIPs, and don’t need anything replaced or removed, just incase any of you thought that. I had 470cc low profile Allergans by MYA in January 2011 and had NO complications or problems at all

The Daily Mail reader comments wind me up something rotten. They hate surgery, tattoos, piercings, fat people, thin people, hair dye, reality tv… pretty much everything!! Green arrowed you by the way! xx

i just posted too but it hasnt shown up on the thread! Totally agree, Daily Mail do nothing but scaremonger and it annoys me, my mum quoted stuff like that at me this wee when I told her i was having mine done – they should be taken out of print!!

Love your comment, I read this the other day and it made me so mad, all the small minded people saying people vain and stupid for doing it, and they get what they deserve etc, but we dont do this out of choice, we do ot because we are unhappy, i breastfed my beautiful boy and becasue of this my boobs were never the same and it effected my self esteem, if your unhappy about something you should be able to change it without people making snide comments.,unfortunaly we are not all blessed with perfect bodies. xx
