Why don’t you have one of you girlfriends plait or braid it for you? I did that the day before my op on Friday and it was the best thing I have done! I don’t have to worry about it getting in the way, redoing it, washing it or having to feel dirty because my hair is all manky! lol. Or spend a little money and have your hair washed and dried at the hairdressers. The pampering might make you feel better too :) xx

Aww I feel like a right rum un compared to you lot my arms were above my head in hospital climbing a chair trying to shut the bloody window 5 hours after surgery!

I’m afraid I think I might have been the luckiest person on here I’ve literally been back to normal from day 3.

Not recommending what I’ve done though but I literally could do anything no pain and no pain killers.

Trying to be careful now though but I seem to be healing well xx

I know can you believe it! Literally the only problem I had was a guy from work picked me up on saturday (I’m 5ft0 and weigh 5stone8 – will be more now I have boobies ;) hehe) so obviously I look like a child not a near 21 year old haha

And he grabbed my boob by accident instead of picking me up by my arm –

Needless to say that wasn’t pleasant hahaha although I was drunk so it didn’t hurt too much ha!

Bless he couldn’t stop apologising all night and needless to say he was more embarrased that he groped me than anything! Hahaha xx

Amychristina, I washed my hair myself over the bath at Day 3 too! I’ve also managed to blow dry, tie it up and get this……Epilate my arm pits! I havent lifted my arms too high but enough to get these things done. I have been pretty lucky too, also feel like i have maybe started running before i can walk. We should enjoy the rest and let others help us out :-)

Chellebelle u can epilate your pits? I attempted b4 hospital, oh my fooking word! It’s torturing yourself!!!xxx

    ouch lol!

i just booked to have my hair french plaited the day before boobday!! :D

    Menu

Pmsl!!! How funny!! Epiliating ur pits for the first time is horrendous. I was in more pain then this BA for the first few days after. Now it’s ok, it’s not pleasant but by no means that’s bad. The fact I can now go so long between shaving makes it all worth it. Not the best at the mo tho as I can’t lift my arms high enough :0) x

    Menu

Bollox to that! I can do my legs, I wouldn’t ever attempt the pits again!!xxx

Oh Amanda!! Ur making me chuckle :0) after what u just went thru you telling me u couldn’t cope?? I prefer under the arms to the legs ;0) how u feeling now anyway??
