low iron

hi girls as anyone else had low iron count in there blood test if so was your op cancelled x

how come you had a blood test chick x

there was a girl on here that had low iron, but i think hers was the higher end of low so it didnt get cancelled, ring your pc or nurse and find out if theres a chance your could xx

well iv been low on iron a few times and iv seen on here bout people having there ops cancelled due to it so i thought id get mine checked iv got to go back and see the doc wed im dreading its gonna mean ill have to put my op back x

is this something that they check hun ?? x

I spoke to my PC about this as I’ve have low iron all my life and she advised me to take extra iron suppliments before my pre op as they may run bloods. (They don’t do bloods as standard but can do if you have suffered form anaemia before). xx

i have my re aug on wednesday huni and i didnt have any bloods taken x x

iv got my pre op thursday theyv just rang me to make appointment im just going to have to see wha the doc says wed and hope its the high end does anyone now wha the levels are for iron x

Hi I believe normal levels are Women – 12.1 to 15.1 gm/dl – I suffer from low levels so made sure i got tested at the docs before getting mine done. I took super 1’s untill two weeks before to boost my levels! xx

Mine was borderline but it didnt make the surgeon want to cancel, it was canceled thru somthing else, depends on your surgeon and how low i think xx

lozzalooloo do you no what yours actually was then for border line is it right its ment to be between 12 and 15 xx
