Lumpy behind scars. Panicing!

Hi girls, How long does it take for the swelling behind the scars to go down? Does anyone know if the lumpiness is internal stitches or swelling? Outside scar looks great but really lumpy and uneven behind. Grateful for an advise thanks. x x x

This is perfectly normal but i’m not sure how long it lasts. I’m 7 weeks post op and lots of girls have the same thing as do i, mine seem worse after wearing a bra all day.

Not sure what it’s caused by, might be worth chatting to a nurse!

I have the same!! It’s still the same now 5 weeks po…

Nurse said to wait until 6week check & she’ll go from there! Not much help I know but wanted to let u know I’m in same boat…

My nurse told me my scars would be lumpy and not to worry as it’s normal & to be expected. Not sure if / when it goes xx

One side isn’t too bad but the right side feels like there is a hard lump the size of a broad bean at the end of the stitching. Kirstie has your s got any better or has it stayed the same since having the stitches out? x
