Lumpy scars??

Hey girls

Im 15 days post op now, i know its still early days but when should this start to go roughly? And what are those dermatix strips meant to do??

Hey Pop, i touched my scars 4 the 1st time last night. im 3 weeks, they are realy lumpy and it feels like a tube is running thro them, i have heard this is normal. so dont worry chick. I dont know id dermatix strips reduce the scars, Im a believer of let nature takes its course. etc. xx

Hiya girls .. I’m 13 weeks and 4 days post op .. When you get to about 6 weeks just get bio oil or coco butter and put it on your scars and rum them quite hard and that brakes up the scar tissue and makes me go flat and the bio oil makes them fade too xx

Thanks Chelsea, i run coco butter in the rest of my boob now, just not the scars. I had strech marks b4 op, so i expect they will now only get worse. xx

Keep it up babe and it should be ok .. If you keep the skin nice and soft it shouldn’t stretch too much and leave marks xx

I have never been bothered about strech marks b4, i always thought it was part of pregnancy, but now when im in bed i massage my boobies, i always do my stomach to,lol. my kids are 14/12. its took me this long to worry about them haha. xx

I’m terrified of getting stretch marks on my boobs!! TERRIFIED! I had loads of white ones on my boobs before and they actually seem to look less now that they’re stretched out but i’m rubbing bio oil and cocoa butter in to them every day as i really don’t want to get new bright red ones on them, i’d be gutted : ( I know i’m really prone to them as have thick ones all over my hips and i haven’t even had kids. My surgeon said that once a year he sees a girl with stretch marks all over her boobs like a road map….i was like WHAT????? NO!!!!!!

Oh and i’ve got the lumpy scars too, glad you posted this as i was wondering whether mine were different to everyone elses and if they were going to stay like that! xx

Thanks girls thats made me feel a lil better. I was attacked a few years ago and they slashed my face, i used bio oil on my face religiously for months and now its barely noticeable so hopefully it will do the same for these scars, it was just cos i never had the lumpy scars on my face i wasnt sure what too use xx
