Hey ladies, I’m 3 wks PO and have come down with tonsillitis.. I get it so bad I’m bed ridden.. Will be getting them out.. When can you lie on your side.. Just back starting to hurt from being in same position.. When did you all start sleeping normal again.. ???
Hey Jo
I started sleeping on my back 2 weeks post op, my nurse said it was okay as long as I keep changing sides. Sleeping on my back was a nightmare
Thanks Hun, I’ll give it a go xx
I am 5 weeks now and have only just started sleeping flat, and I still wake up really sore 🙁 My back has been killing me though! I have managed to sleep off to the side a bit but am worried about doing anything to them as they still have quite a bit to drop! xx
I started sleeping on my side from 3 weeks, I was told If it doesn’t feel uncomfortable it’s fine, hope your ok xx
Thanks ladies, I’ve just lied on my side and it was fine.. I’ll just make sure to swap.. Just hope my high fevers haven’t melted my boobs!!!
What are the consequences on laying on your side too early? Xx
Think as long as your conformitbale should be fine, I’m nearly 5weeks op and I been doing it for a week now xxx
Comfortable I mean ?
I’ve been sleeping on my side from 3 weeks and I’ve been able to sleep on my front now for a few days and haven’t had any pain 😀
Like the other girls have said as long as it’s comfortable and doesn’t cause any pain then it should be fine 🙂 xx
I was 4 weeks PO when I started sleeping on my sides, I think as long as it’s comfortable for you then you should be fine 🙂 xx
Thanks ladies, really stressing now as I’m so ill. Can hardly walk, throat closing, can’t get my fever down even taking paracetamol and ibuprofen. So sick of this, been battling tonsillitis all year!!! Just worried about my healing being so ill. ?
