I’m 10 weeks post op and although I can lie on my tummy its not comfortable and after about 5 minutes I change position. Anyone post op find it comfortable? Or is it never going to be quite the same? Really miss it as I used to sleep in that position :(

i suppose it all depends on the size and type of op we all had. it was uncomfortable at first but it did get easier hun. can you sleep on your side yet?

Yeah I can sleep on my side no problem, just always used to lie really flat on my tummy… I can get into that position just the pressure I feel on my chest is really uncomfortable, feel like I’m really squashing them, make sense? xxx

This may sound stupid but I always sleep on my front too and I think that may have contributed over the years to the flattening of my breast tissue. So I think I’ll try not to do it once I get my implants as want them to last as long as poss.

i started by lying on my side and eventualy edged my way onto my stomach, it was sore at first but each time i did it i tried to hold it a bit longer and now im fine, i can only sleep on my stomach so i had to do it lol. good luck with it i hope you are sleeping on your bellys soon.

    xx

Ah Chels, thats exactly how I feel. Just hope I’m comfortable enough by the time I go on holiday so I can tan the backs of my legs lol! Lisam, do you think lying on your tummy would effect the look of our implants then? xx

I’m not sure Kutri. But its a question I’m going to ask my surgeon. I’m probably worrying about nothing. I do love sleeping on my front. x
