id recommend the macom all day long..its been brilliant for me because ive changed so much from being really swollen, then down, then up again when the softened, and it was really important to me that i had the best support, and with the constant changing, i could guarentee that a D cup would fit one day and the next was really tight. The macoms are either 32,34,36,38, and stretch to fit and support all sizes. The other cheaper ones itched and were too tight on my incisions. xx

Hey hun. I had a macom and I love it!!! I still wear it at night and im now 10 weeks post op. Can’t really comment on the cheeper ones as I never had them. Just remember to try and get one without seams as your boobs will be very sensitive and to also try and get one that does up on the front as you will be laying propped up for at least a week and you don’t want any fasteners digging in ya back.

Also I found macom good because of the expandable cups. You haven’t gotta worry constantly buying different ones as ya boobs tend to go up and down in size.

I only brought one because as soon as ya wash it it dry’s unbelievably quickly. ALso you may already know but if you use Mybreast in the discount box you’ll get 15% off xxx Just my personal opinion though xxx

The Macoms are measured in back size only, so go for whatever back size you are now hun.

I had my surgery with Mr K too, and didnt wear my Macom as I heard he thinks they ruin his work lol However true it is, I wasnt going to chance it so I have worn Asda sports bras until today, the 6 week mark, yipppeeee!!! I found my Macom soooooo uncomfortable anyways ..just sold it on ebay xx

Hey hun, I am 10 days post op and had Mr K…..who told me not to wear them. I was gonna sell them on here….until today. I have been out all week trying to find alternative sports bras and it has been a nighmare!!! I finally bought 3 and took them along to my post op today to have my strapping taken off.

All 3 sports bras were rubbish. I felt so restricted and uncomfortable and they sat right across my scars.

I told the nurse that I had 2 macoms but MR K told me not to wear them. She said we have got to wear what is right for us. They wont have a detrimental effect on your boobs at all. Ive come home and put my macom straight on…….oh my god…..I cannot tell you how happy I am right now. It is amazing. I would recommend a macom to anyone.

XS is for a 28-30 back. Small is for a 32. Medium is for a 34 and large is for a 36 back. I would go with the back size you currently are!

Im a 32 and got a medium to begin with to allow for swelling etc and it was massive.I could get my whole hand up my back. Then changed it for a small and it fit perfectly from start to finish.

Also just accepted ya friend request hun. Sorry it took a while but hadn’t seen you on here before and if you saw my status update you’d understand why.

Now accepted you anyway sugar x
