Macom Bra or ??

So I know there’s a lot of these threads floating around but want more personal advise!

Looking at purchasing a macom bra, having spoke to macom direct, they advised I go up a size in the bra but that’s not what’s stated on the website so just wanted to know anyone’s personal experience with using macom? I’m currently 32B but will be getting 385cc. They also recommend I get the I-bra but so confused.

Also, if anyone can advise if they’ve used macom and another brand, the advantages and disadvantages?

Or just any bra that you found best!!

I have 2x macom and had surgery on Tuesday 350cc. I normally have a 32a/b bra so I went for the small signature bra (32 back) and it fits perfect. No rubbing on incisions at all and it feels just tight enough without being restrictive. I have an M&S sports bra too but not felt the need to take my macom off yet. I think the M&S one has a bit more padding than macom so I will probably save that for when I am up and about a bit more.

The macom is very different to the MS sports bra.. I have both and my surgeon said ok after seven days to wear ms in day but must sleep in macom at night so the compression it gives is important. I was a 34a but had to go up a size in the macom due to swelling. ATM im also up a size in ms but think maybe ms come up small had to get their 36e but asda post op bra in 34 is ok.. .. i got meaured at my pre op for what bra i woujld need. are you having a pre op? x

Iv got 2 signature macoms, I was a 32A pre op so got a small which is back size 32. I didn’t wear my bra for the first week after surgery as I had strapping on so didn’t need it. Iv had my strapping off today and my macom fits perfect. Iv seen some girls say that they returned the i bra due to it rubbing. Xxx

thanks Louise!! so many lasses have said about the swelling and the macom back size just not fitting right because of it so just got me into a bit of a tizzy.

Sabrina, yeah I’m in on the 20th but I don’t feel as if my PC is very helpful. She’s not actually based in Liverpool and seems to be very busy.

I didnt have strapping on like jess but i must say I didnt want to remove the signature bra for the first few days as it was so comfortable it also has two eyelet settings so you can loosen it.

I am a 36 band so bought the 36 Macom.
At first I didn’t like it. I wore it for 2days post op, then it was too uncomfortable with my swelling.

But I went back to it after day 7.

I love it now as it feels so supportive sonalways wear it to sleep in.

I’ve just bought another 2.
Another signature (like I already have) and a 2nd stage sportsbra.
