The nurse at my pre-op suggested I buy the Macom bra, im probably going to need a minimum of 3 (1 on, 1 in wash, 1 ready to wear). At £30.00 each, are they really worth it??
I would like to know this too as they are a bit pricey! But them again we will be wearing them for 6 weeks so will get goot use out of them. I am only going to buy 2 bras though, one black and one white. Just not sure if it’s going to be the Macom ones yet either!
Really worth it comfort and support i got loads of diffrent ones but my macom is a god send buy 2 they dry mega fast! xx
Ive heard Asda do a Post op bra too. Does anyone know if its any good? x
definatly worth it im 5days po had a normal sports bra macom bra came today put it on and ooo the difference it also pulls your boobs in more than a sports bra will, i would def recomened atleast one!!!
Thanks hollparke, how are you PO? What did you have and who was your surgeon?
x
I think the asda bra is crap macom is Wonderful i reckon i will still wear it after 6wks x
i love mine got 2 they come up longer then sports bras so dont rub your scares its all about comfort and the least of pain for me at mo xx
i have a macom bra for sale on ebay never worn and is brand new if anyone is interested, just search for macom and it should come up x
I got told to return my Macom bras by my surgeon for the very reason that they push your boobs together and you shouldn’t be doing this when healing. But I kind of wish I’d kept them. I’m wearing asda bras and finding them really comfy. x
I bought one Macom and a couple of cheap asda sports bras! I wear Macom then swap to asda one and hand was and dry Macom it takes minutes to hand wash and 20 mins max to dry on radiator! So u van get away with one!
I tend to wear it at night and next day till after tea then swap to asda bra or have half hour of freedom and wash it then! It’s dry for bed time that night again!
But def worth getting at least one x
