    Hey ladys,

I’m in for my op on July 24th and I’m getting an uplift and enlargement. Which bras do you all recommend? There’s, macoms, MYA’s own brand, M&S etc… I know everyone’s different and what’s good for one may not be suitable for another. Some just don’t bother and wear what they like but I’d like to give my new boobies a fighting chance to be as perfect as they can be.

Because I’m getting both uplift and enlargement I didn’t know if one would stand out from the crowd.

    Thanks in advance Gem. Xx

I don’t think you can beat the macom personally. I’m 6 days post op and they are still firmly in place. They take some getting used to with the comfort however I don’t think they are meant to be comfy. You need all the support for a reason. Good luck xx

Hey I had an uplift and implants and my surgeon prefers not to reccomend macoms as its her preference. My surgeon prefers a non compression bra that doesn’t apply pressure at all.

I ended up with a basic sloggi crop top and went up a band size or two for swelling. Prior to this I had looked at macoms and ordered a Royce post op bra because its made from special material impregnated with silver ions to aid healing and prevent bacteria build up. I thought I would be changing my bra daily but I literally lived in it for a week which my surgeon had predicted. As I couldn’t lift my arms.

I was annoyed because I wanted the macom experience however I was chuffed because it was hell of a lot cheaper and I wasnt in any discomfort which I’ve read can happen due to the compression. End of the day go with ur gut and see ur surgeons suggestions which u should be informed about at ur pre op if ur with Mya. They give u a personalised pack for what ur having and ur surgeons reccomendations.

Hi Gemma, I’m having my BA on Tuesday with Ms Lutz and she said she only recommends the MYA bras. I think every surgeon has their own views so I think it’s best to ask your surgeon. Good luck with it all 🙂

Also a Macom fan here! Say what you like about it but it really is the best bra in my opinion, and I know many people that give up with it at different times but find themselves wearing it again or buying a second/third pair 🙂 xxx I use the M&S when Macom’s in wash, and as has been said by someone before, the bras aren’t meant to be comfy xxx

I’m swayed towards MYA’s own brand as I’ve seen it in the flesh. Seems well made and looks comfy.
