Macom or High Impact Sports Bra from M&S

Ladies I’m 3 weeks post op as of Wednesday. Only just told I bought a high impact sports bra from M&S. I find it much comfier and to be honest more supportive.

However, I’m starting to doubt whether I should just stick with my Macom til 6 weeks post op?? I don’t want to cause any damage to my boobies or risk then going misshaped.

What do you think? Advice and opinions would be much appreciated. Thanks! 🙂 xxx

Hey Hun iv heard a lot of girls say on hear that there surgeon told them to get the high impact sport bras instead of the Macom o bought a sports bra the other day and took it to my 2 week po and the nurse said it was great to use if anything that instead of my Macom but I just can’t bring myself to wear it longer than a few hours I go back to my Macom lol xx

Thanks Toni!! Aww bless you Hun. I have my sports bra on now and it’s just so much comfier. It gives a nicer shape so I think I look better in clothes than when I do when I have my Macom. Mr Traynor did say a sports bra but I bought the Macom but think I’m going to wear my sports bra from now on 🙂 haha xxx

See I was just a it nervous with my sports bra we the band at the bottom is right near my scars and the last thing I want to do it irritate them as I go away on just under 3week xx

i wore my macom in bed and my m&s bra in the day, i loved my macom but felt more supported in my sports bra, and as i walk all day at work i felt it stopped them jiggling and feeling sore 🙂

Hi girls 🙂 how do you know what size macom or sports bra to get before surgery?

Hi Sophie, I had Mr Traynor too and I’ve been wearing both depending on what i’m wearing and how sore I am in one or the other. The nurse said that was fine. x

Thanks everyone. I’ve just got in my pjs and put my Macom on after wearing my sports bra for the past 24 hours. Just need a breather haha!! I’ll just wear either depending on how I feel and what I’m wearing like you say 🙂 I’m just a little cautious that I’m not wearing the correct size in the sports bra, I got a 34E and worried it’s a little too tight as its been leaving a few marks 🙁 xxx
