I’m sooo worried about this too! I’ve got a 10, 8 yrs and 10 month old! The baby is so clingy too! She also sleeps on our bed and is cuddled to sleep, so dreading getting kicked in the boob! Plus it’s school holidays when I have my op in 2 weeks so got all 3 to look after all day long! My hubby is gonna take as much time of as I need him for but I would love to know how long it’ll be before I can pick my daughter up again.
I’m also having an uplift so I imagine my healing will be a lot longer than a standard BA

I’m so worried about this…I have a 3 year old and a very chunky 6month old!
Hubby is going to be with me for 10days to look after them, but then he has to go back to work! I’m too worried about my 3 year old as I don’t need to pick her up, but I can’t get away with not picking up my 6month old….just hope 10 days is enough!

Hi ladies. Im 15 days po. I have a 4 year old and a chunky non mobile 10 month old. I could have lifted her being careful day 2/3 but didnt have to as had help. By day 4 i was on my own and managed fine. No rough play or prolonged carrying but easily pick her up and moved her from place to place. Could still have cuddles on knee etc. I have been really lucky with recovery tho and barely had any pain so i think its hard to say until u have had it done. I was pretty much back to normal by day 8

I’m 4 weeks tomorrow, I have a 7, 4 and 21 month old. I picked my 21 month old up Saturday and my left boob is really sore today. Other than that I’ve managed ok from the 21st July. I’d agree maybe second week you’ll be ok, but don’t push yourself, your body will tell you when you have done to much. And get help when and if you can. Xx
