Mario Russo, does anyone know what's going on???

I had my BA with him 6 months ago, and I’ve now been informed and read about him being suspended?!?

Is there anything we should be worried about??

Worrying ay! I’ve been really happy with my boobs and about my decision but now I’m a little freaked out!

I’m hoping it’s something that’s been blown out of per portion and they r doing all this as a precaution!

He has been suspended for something pre-dating his work at MYA, it’s a one off case, that the GMC are investigating, and until they have finished that, he isn’t allowed to work at present.

If you have concerns, contact the mod or your pc, they will be happy to talk about them, and if you have issues you will be given a new surgeon xx

hi girlies i was suppose to have had mario on the 3rd of june but i didnt get my op .. but the reason for his suspension is in the sun paper and the daily mail today you can read it on line with the sun just time in the box mario russo and it comes up xx

Yeah I have read this but they don’t really explain anything. I wasn’t sure if it’s one case or more and if his patients had anything to worry about. But Joannabell said it’s just a one off case

yeah think it is one of case but it says if found guilty then he will never be able to work as a surgeon again so it must be bad … im just proper gutted tbh i didnt get my op xx

Someone accused him of misconduct (someone on here) and then lodge a complaint against him AFTER having a second procedure with him. Fed up with everyone hating on a great surgeon whilst the ‘lady’ gets off scott free with loads of attention

Is that true ticky88, did u get your info from a reliable source? Was looking at the sun article online sound more like he was being accused of indecent behaviour rather than a problem with his work.

It’s only fair that due process is allowed to take place without speculations. It appears MYA Mods have decided to blanket delete just about any thread on Mario Russo’s suspension – not just the speculation posts but the entire thread; even when the posts simply state facts already in the public domain.

Suspect this thread will be gone by tomorrow morning.

yeh its not about his actual work/surgery hes performed its about his behaviour after n how he treated someone!x

Tbh after my surgery he just left me wondering wtf he had done and why he hadn’t done what we had spoke about and agreed upon.. Didn’t get a chance to Speak to him after surgery n just had me worrying for weeks

His behaviour was quite tolerant from what ive heard….he was good enough to hand out his personal phone number. If his actions and behaviour were that bad why have a second surger with him? Either way i dont care…its just unfair that a decent bloke has been struck off whilst the other party carry on as normal acting immature. I hope the fake accounts stop pm’ing me…ill say wtf i like

The said lady in question is devastated, and not knowing either of them personally ticky, it’s not for you to say who is in the right or wrong. The GMC found his conduct alarming enough to warrant an investigation, so let’s leave it up to them to decide shall we.

Ticky since you know the full story why isnt is in the press,and how strange this is up for discussion, when other threads have been deleted it seems that Mya only allow threads that will put doubt in people mind s about this person,yet if a thread telling all how good she was is posted its deleted immediately the GMC do not suspend for no reason it has to be pretty damn serious.So ticky lots of press out there glued to this forum,give them your story.

Ticky it’s only peoples 2nd hand versions you have heard! I surgest we all keep an open mind on both counts! I had Mario last year…! From what it appears from the news papers the gmc are taking this very seriously, why would they do that?!?!?

I think this “blame” thing is very childish and I’m sure the reasons behind it are just! we just don’t know all the facts, and speculating and pointing fingers when we don’t know what has happened is very playground!
