Mario Russo not a member of BAAPS

Hi,

I am just researching as have been recommended Mario to perform my BA. I have looked on the BAAPS website and discovered Mario is not a registered surgeon. My PC also told me he used to be a heart surgeon, although I cannot find any evidence on this?

Any assistance / answers would be appreciated! Obviously I have no doubts that Mario is excellent at his job, although (understandably) I want to get as much info as possible beforehand… Thanks

Neither of the 2 surgeons I went to see were baaps registered but they r on the gmc register x

Contact your PC if you have any concerns at all,they will be able to reassure you.xxx

he told me he used to be a skin graft specialist as I want in with a burn on my face and e told me how I stop it scaring x

Just to clarify, BAAPS is not a qualification or a requirement for a practicing cosmetic surgeon. It is a purely a membership.

Hi All

Thanks MYA mod – I just wanted some clarification on the situation; I knew there would be a reason for it, although I wanted to check. It said in the MYA paperwork to have a look on the BAAPS website, so I wondered why Mario wouldn’t be on there (to be honest I thought it might have been as he completed all of his qualifications outside of the UK).

I am seeing him next week anyway so will go from there x
