i know this may sound thick but have been reading about people massaging the breasts. my nurse hasn’t told me too but quite a few people seem to say its benefificial. is there a specific type of massage, how long do you do it for and how often. Also from how many weeks?
onyl today after bein for my 1st wk post op i asked my nurse an she sed i can massage them bt make sure if i use lotions or anything not to do it near my incisions. she sed it helps the healing process so i went straight to buy coco butter as this softens the skin an stops stretch marks so im hopin to start fluffing soon hehe xx
cool, cheers will get some. will you do it daily or every few days?
the massaging breast is all the time to maintain a natural feel it say on my sheet 30 -50 2-3 timews per week x x
This may sound dumb but how do you massage them? In circles? With both hands? How do you know how hard or soft to massage? x
The way my nurse told me was to press lightly wi 2 fingers together until the 6 week check when she said to do a lil bit more of a squeeze x
Hey
Its a bit annoying that we all get told different things; my nurse never mentioned anything about massaging!?!? Hmmmmmmmm!!
Continuity and all that xx
my nurse said go round the breast alternating hands so right hand on then as you take right hand off left and goes on in a circle but i dont think it matters as long as you put a bit off preasure on and not a tickle does that make sense x
Hmmmm might have to give it a go then
I’ll go purchase myself a big tub of cocoa butter x
lol hope you healing well x x
Hi yes my advice was from 2 weeks onwards just keep away from your insitions x x
