    Hi everyone,

Now I’m pretty sure none of us have been told to massage our noses Post Op, why is this? I have read everywhere on the internet and told by 2 different people I know that they were told to do this. It’s meant to help reduce swelling, and ensure that you dont get any lumps of scar tissue etc.

I know a few of you are saying your have noticed lumps on your noses… do you think this is why?

I was given strict instructions not to touch my nose at all, give your PC a call honey, she will contact your surgeon,to confirm whether or not this is an option for you, there will be lots of information on the internet about post operative care for Rhinoplasty, but unless it is information from your surgeon,I would go with the instructions he has given you,If you start to massage your nose you could seriously disturb the healing process, your surgeon is the expert, lets face it he knows noses inside out so to speak, contact your PC honey.xxx

georgiajxx,we all google honey,I think there is some good advise out there, but there are so many different instructions,it is easy to become confused and because we want the best possible results,we worry that we should be doing something to aid the recovery, sometimes letting your own bodies healing capacity work its magic,is maybe the best solution, let me know what your PC says honey.xxx

    Hi ladies

If you are concerned or confused at all about anything to do with your procedure please give the nurse a quick call and she can advise.

Alternatively, send me a quick message and I will get in touch with her for you.

    Many thanks
