    Sorry its an essay!

Finally putting my version of events up!

My stats: 5’4”, wearing 32b (LaSenza b!) size 8. Operation date 10th May 2011 with Mr Chantrasak.

Ive been agonising for ages whether to have 340s or 380s! I am finally in the boobie club! :D

    Here goes..

Monday evening I travelled to London and stayed in the Comfort Hotel. It turned out to be a very good location with some restaurants, cinema and bowling on the complex. The Hotel is a lot like the Travelodge and those chain type hotels.

I was so tired getting there on Monday night that there was no time to get nervous, so straight into bed and sleeping! Woke up on BA day and had the last shower. Felt odd not being able to moisturise or put on deodorant. Then watched mam have some breakfast before we set off.

My admission time was 10am but as we were ready, we left the hotel at 8:30 to secure a parking space at the hospital. Highgate hospital was literally only a few miles down the road but traffic was a bloody nightmare! It took us a good 45 minutes! Arrived, managed to get a parking space and then it all happened very quickly.

I was shown to my room 305 then before I could turn TV on the anaesthetist came in and asked me a few questions. Then Mr Chantrasak came in, took some photos, drew on me and asked me to confirm the size I was having. STILL had not decided at this point. I asked him what he thought, asked my mam what she thought and they both said I would have to decide. I said 340s but had some doubt, Mr C said I could change my mind at anytime as long as I let him know before they put me to sleep! Ha! He left the room and then nurse came in! She gave me the sexy gown, socks and paper knickers! Yuk! She took my blood pressure and it was through the roof! I swear its the implant size stress! She laughed, talked to me for a few mins and took it again. It was better on the second attempt. I asked when I could expect to go down and she said there is one girl before me then I would be going down.

To kill time I phoned o2 to sort my phone out and then nurse was knocking on the door at 10:50 saying ‘we’re ready for you!’ couldn’t believe it! Absolutely crapped it at this point!

The walk to theatre was the most surreal experience of my life! I had to get on the theatre bed – under the theatre lights! The anaesthetist was really lovely, chatting away to me. One lady was sticking probes on me, the anaesthetist put the needle in my arm – much better than in my hand, I hate it in my hand it hurts! Then he tells me hes going to strap my arms down! My heart sank i felt like i was in a horror film! Haha! They have to strap them down out wide like a cross because they will go floppy with the GA. Then Mr C came in and asked are you sticking with 340s? I said yes and laughed nervously! The anaesthetist showed me the anaesthetic and said “im going to give you this now and you’ll fall asleep and when you wake up it’ll all be done”. Meanwhile nurse is putting oxygen mask on my face! This was the most surreal part of it all! GA made me feel a little like being on the walzers, I counted to 4 then I was being woken up ;-)

When I was coming around I could see Hayleyg fast asleep, she’ll probably say I was talking crap! I know I was talking but dunno what I was saying. I was busy copping a feel of myself and trying to look down bandages! ;-). I think I kept telling the nursing staff “thank you for all your help!” haha!

I was back in my room by 11:50! On my phone by 12! I felt tip top all day! Boobies looks fab wrapped up in bandages. Eat all my meals, haven’t had any pain! Only feeling aches as if ive done too much in the gym. I find the weight on my chest unusual, its hard to breathe and get my bottom breath. I left the hospital at 4-4:30 went for a meal in the evening. Travelled home ok yesterday.

Ive been wearing my macom and love it! It holds me in nice and snug, when I take it off I feel like my new assets are going to fall off or my skin will split! Im very nervous without the macom but with it they feel amazing!

Ill put pics up as soon as I get some courage! ;-)

Thank you to all the girls who replied to my messages shared their pics with me and answered my posts on the forum! You’ve been so much help THANK YOU!

Hope my boobie buddies are healing well! Keep in touch xx

Ics, your story was great. Loved it! Glad you were feeling so bright and chirpy afterwards. I felt the same.

How are you feeling now 2 days post op? I have a funny bubblewrap sensation under my skin right and my cleavage. Weird!

Your not fat Mrs. Far from it. Your probably noticing the swelling but it’ll go down. It won’t last forever. Get a smile on that face, your boobs look fab!! :)

I’m in the same situation agonising over 340s or 380s!! Just can’t decide. Would be good to see pics when you’re up to taking them. It’s just the painkillers and stuff making you bloated that’s probably making you feel fat x

rosie88 – I think you should trust your gut instinct. You know your body and what you want to achive. I agonised over the same decision for weeks and hoped that someone else would make the decision for me! I went with 340s and 2 days in I dont regret it! :-) x

Hi lcs3, congrats and thanks for sharing your story. Do you mind if I add you please? How far is the comfort hotel from the hospital? Did you walk or drive? x

Hi Belle, Ill add you no problem.

The comfort is really well situated about 3 miles away but to and from the hospital I got caught in rush hour which tool ages!!! If you have your own car then this wont be a problem, taxi could be costly in rush hour but maybe they know another way around. I wouldn’t say it is walking distance.

There is a Tesco nearby too, we stopped there on the way home to get some supplies for the hotel room. The comfort inn has a cinema, few restaurants and bowling on the complex. Me and mam went to Ask the evening of my BA! :-) x

Thanks. I don’t know my addmission time yet but if it’s early I think it’d be best to stay in a hotel the night before, I don’t know London at all and wouldn’t want to be late.x

    Where are you travelling from?

I came from South Wales so went up on Monday night as my admission time was 10am. Its better to be there early too because parking is limited. I manged to get a space once a nightcase left at 9:30. There isn’t any on street parking (only residents bays where your permitted to park 10-2.. i think thats correct). The receptionist did mention some free parking nearby x

I’m travelling from Hertfordshire, it’d be about 2 hours if traffic was really good. I was thinking of taking the train as that would only take 45mins.x

How will you get home? They advise that you shouldn’t take public transport after a BA. Someone might bump into you or the journey itself maybe too much for you after GA.

When are you having it done? You must be so excited? :D x

I am so excited!! But it’s not until 27th July :( such a long time away.

I think if I get the train up, I’ll get someone to pick me up, it doesn’t matter if they’re late after I’ve had it done lol x

That time will pass before you know it. Its the week before that really drags!

They are good in highgate, they like to keep you for at least 4 hours after the BA, if your sick or any problems they may keep you longer. They were so good with my mam, she stayed in my room while I was having the op. They were bringing her tea and gave her toast too when they brought mine! Im sure they’ll look after you too x
