McGHAN Allergan IMPLANTS

Hi

i had the round implants but these where called responsive (not soft touch) as i previously said i had tubular breast tissue so these implants where more suited as they are filled alot more.

I have heard that alot of people have the soft touch implants these are different to the ones that i had.

Your right really. I looked for the best clinic and i did find one.

Just thought I would say that nothing can really have a lifetime guarantee, cus actually how long is a lifetime, u could live 2 a hundred or u could die young so nothing is really a lifetime, lifetime guarantee cannnot take into account peoples individual bodies weight gain/loss pregnancy etc, my boobs i was born with certainly havnt lasted a life time, 3 children gaining soooooo much weight whilst pregnant etc so would take life time guarantee with a pinch of salt, especially when concerning the human body I know 2 people personally who have had surgary with Mya and they cannot fault them. hunny im sorry for the misunderstanding.the Mcghan implants are also from the allergan company, and the uci ones are just as good, so dnt worry hun.i saw the surgeon today and he said the same thing.the mcghan ones are

Thanks alot. I feel much better now.. I was probably over reacting because i was just so scared over nothing and i’m sorry..
I called the clinic and a pc spent alot of time explaining to me in details and i am pleased with all the explanations.
i apprecite MYA’s help alot and really greatful. I love my new boobs and they have drops loads amazingly!

Thanks for all your comments.We just wanted to clarify a few things about the implants used by MYA.

MYA offer a range of implants all manufactured by Allergan, the largest manufacturer of breast implants in the world. The shell of the CUI implant contains six separate layers of silicone. This is exactly the same as the premium range implants. The CUI range are Class 3 certified and CE marked medical devices. This is the highest European and UK regulatory standard. Please be aware that the FDA certification refers purely to the USA market and the CUI were never put forward to get the approval. The Class 3 Certification that they have is the best possible in Europe and the UK.

Oh ok, i kinda umderstand.. Uhmm what exactly is the difference?? Is it that the normal ones are softer whilst yours are firmer or what exactly??

iv been doing a lot of research on implants and found out the safest are mcghan allergan implants NOT the UCI allergan! they have very low rupture rate and may even last a lifetime if well looked after. so i was thinking of telling mya to order these in for me!
i thought id let u girlies know so u could maybe discuss it at your nxt consultation and let me Know if you find anything out plz…xxxx

@jojo, thanks i was just worried after paying the full amount for over night with no voucher or discounts… I just wanted perfect implants that is all. Your implants, are they round or anatomic??

@sara, i just called my my pc but she wasnt in so i spoke to a different pc who explained that the MCGHAN implants are anatomic so they are not round.

@ mellissa, yes.. Because i kept telling my pc i want everything perfect. As i have been thinking about ba fot too long. I’m just 19 and i dont want to have any health problems in just a few years.

Hi Divafly, nothing was mentioned to be about this either but i really dont think there is anything to worry about…

The nomral allergen ones that they use, if looked after well, can last a lifetime, but they do advise if we can to replace at about 15years, doesnt mean we have to though hun…try not to worry honestly, i dont think they have done anything wrong by not mentioning this really, and there is very very low chance that they will rupture x x

I was only recommended the alergan implants because i had tubular tissue and had a higher chance of rippling if i had the normal implants that MYA use. The implants that i had are filled alot more so there is a less chance of them rippling.

MYA have been using the same impants for years and would not be using them if they didnt think that they where safe!

I did see two different surgeons one who said to have them and the other who said not to. I really wouldnt worry!

Hi divafly – im sure the implants that have been used are just as safe as they wouldnt use them otherwise – try not to worry too much. I would ring ur pc and find out why u were not told about them but im sure the implants you have got are fine – i was told about paying extra to have the other implant but i chose not too as the other implants sounded just as safe to me. Im sure you will be fine it is just frustrating that u feel u may have been mislead xxx

Oh God i cant stop crying.. I feel so bad.. I cannot believe my pc?? Its so sad.. I just cant stop crying. I’m 19 i dont want anything to rapture in me. I’m talking to my pc later if she wont replace then i want them to take it out and my money back!!

I am so angry with mya, they didnt recommend them.. Very disappointed. My consultation was rushed and i’m just really angry i didnt go for the best. I’m calling my pc tomorrow.. Actually i’m furious!!!

Im not sure how much extra they where in the end, i think your looking around 250 each but not 100% sure.

im happy with them, 13 days post op and they are already starting to look natural.

I had these implants on the 12th October, they where recommended to me at my consltation.
Mya do use these implants if they are recommended but im sure that you could ask for them.

they cost a little more but they do come with a lifetime guarentee!
