Hey girlies,
I have been measured at a 32F/34E from a 34A with 400 natrelles unders. I look around a D some people say DD though.
Even though I am very happy I have put on a few pounds even though I have been power walking. When can i start to jog???? or any advise on other exercises I am able to do & wear proper bra’s???
xxx
It’s so frustrating not being able to exercise isn’t it…I’m only 10 days PO but dying to get back to it!
They do say 6 weeks for everything but when you go on google all the American sites say that after 3 weeks with good support bra you can do lower body work, cycling etc. I def wouldn’t try weights until 6 weeks or even 8 weeks.
Just don’t do any upper body and be really careful with anything else as well coz even what you think is lower body can put a strain on chest muscles.
Def don’t jog until 6 weeks hun x
Are you a member of a gym? The staff should be able to give you some exercises that are safe to do, I had a really good chat to a personal trainer who’d said to me when I feel ready to book in with him and he’ll show me some exercises for lower body x
Yes hunni you are so right. How are your healing, hope all is well
It might be a good idea to get advise for a personal trainer, I will take your advise, I have just emailed one now
thank you so much, it’s just my tummy which needs to shift
xxxx
I’m healing really well thanks hun, it was a re-op coz I had PIP so the recovery seems even quicker, I literally only needed the painkillers for 2 days. Almost makes it more frustrating not being able to go gym for 6 weeks coz I feel like I’m at least at 4 weeks PO already, no swelling or pain at all. I won’t attempt it tho, you can cause internal bleeding without even realising you have.
Mine is my tummy as well, the fat all goes there
the personal trainer I spoke to told me they can work your core with kettle bells without straining your chest muscles like sit ups do, never tried kettle bells tho so no idea if that’s true xx
That recovery sounds really impressive…
So have you had any lasting or discomfort after the two days of painkillers?
xx
The first two days were still a killer but they did say my re-op would be less painful as the pockets already been made for the implant so less swelling and bruising etc.
I just found my incisions felt a bit sore but most of all they just felt extremely itchy, that’s good though coz it means they are healing and closing up. I have got quite a high pain threshold tho, I didn’t even find the first time around too bad but I have got overs so less painful than unders. Xx
Aww well I am glad it is all sorted for you
!!!! kettle bells i would have though would be too strainuess you know
.
I did situps yesturday & i forgot what its called now but with that thing that helps you the roller thing lol !!!
It horrible isn’t it bloody tummies nightmare hehehe. YOu are so lucky with the pain etc hunni. Are your boobies different this time around then before with the PIP? xx
kelly be careful with kettle bells as i use them at the gym and it can involved swinging the bells over your head and between your legs so it will put strain on your chest muscles, but it depends what sort of programe they will write for you x
I thought kettle bells were like that, I was surprised when he said they won’t put a strain on like sit ups do.
I’m not going to attempt any exercise until the 6 weeks, I’m desperate to but it’s just not worth risking recovery (esp as this was a re-op anyway)
Lauraxox I had 470 high profile to replace my 335 PIP so a cup size bigger, they just look a bit fuller than they did before, had my post op with nurse yesterday and incisions have closed up nicely and the scars should be neat like before which is good, I was worried about the scarring 2nd time round
Xx
