    Hi,

I’m awaiting my initial consultation, and have seen a couple of posts on here stating that they ask your GP for a copy of your medical history.

I have a history of intermittent counselling sessions from my teen years and was on anti-depressants for 6/8 weeks in 2011, and am worried this will act as a barrier to the procedure. Has anyone else had this problem? I can’t imagine that every person to undergo an aesthetic procedure has a totally clean mental slate.

I had a short course of about 4 weeks in about 2009/2010 and they had no problem with my medical history. You’ve been off them a while as long as your doctors feel that you are now mentally stable, I’m sure you’ll be fine hun xx

Give them a call hun and speak to your PC she will advise you a little more on what instances they have to refuse surgery I shouldnt worry too much im sure alot of people have suffered from things in there life and the fact you went to your doctors to deal with this issues is a really possitive thing as alot dont.

so long as your in a good state now i cant see it affecting your surgery xxx
