Hi i have been to 3 different cosmetic groups transform, harley medical and the hospital group i was turned down from transform and harley medical as there policy state that they cant operate on anyone who has a pacemaker…. which i have (a device implanted in my chest that beats my heart) …. the hospital group accepted me and 3 weeks after my consultation i was in the hospital waiting to go down to theatre i waited 6 hours i then had a visit form the anesthatist who refused to put me to sleep saying i was too high risk and i had to go all the way home….. i have since visited my gp who is refurring me to a local surgeon who may be able to accept me in the meen time i am waiting for a call back to have a consultation at MYA to get their opinion.
I have letters from my cardiologist who has stated that there shouldnt be any complications also i have had 4 general anathetics in the past 4 years with no problems.
did anyone else have any issues with their medical history that had to be looked at before surgery or has anyone else been turned away.
