Medication :/

Hi ladies could u tell me what it is we are given to take after our op? How long r we meant to take it for?

Also never been put out b4, is that just the mask over ur mouth n nose or do u have any injection/meds at this stage???

To be honest hun,when I went to theatre,I layed on the bed,I felt a little prick in my hand and they were asking me what I do for a living,the next thing I remember I was lifting the covers looking at my boobs,lol,so excited and starving,lol,I was on antibiotics for about 5 days I think,and co codamol 3 times a day for the first couple of days.Arnica every couple of hours which definitely worked I didn’t get any bruising,started taking the Arnica before the op. No problems after that,xxxxx

they inject you with the ga and they give you antisickness at the same time. it doesnt hurt tho huni like tina said just a lil prick then i felt really heavy then was gone, there really nice tho and talk to you loads to distract you.

then after you have antibiotivs for 5 days after and co codamol, but ive had no pain at all. ive taken arnica since before the op (still taking it ) but i still bruised on the sides of ma boobs under my arms, but it doesnt hurt at all.

Maybe it depends wot u have done but I had unders & uplift with nipple correction was on antibiotics for 5 days,& tramadol & paracetamol 2 four times a day! Xxx

I’m in on tue with Mr C having unders. Either 300 or 340 or in-between sizes can’t quite make my mind up. One day I think sod it I’m gonna have 340 then no might to too big I’ll have 335 and so on ha. Xx

i think blondie had the same tablets as you jasmine and she had uplift, and all the girls who have just had ba seem to have had same as me, so maybe the uplift girls just need stronger painkillers cos theyve had more work x x

Yeh i would imagine you could have a lot more pain with an uplift, bless em.

I was given co codomol, ibuprofen and antibiotics.

The ga was one of the things I was terrified about too as I’d never had it before, but it was fine. They insert the thing into a vein in your hand – just like if you were having your blood done and you just feel a little prick. You then get the oxygen mask over your mouth and the anaesthetic starts going into your arm which just feels a little cold. They’ll probably give you a bit if reassurance for a few seconds then you’re out like a light! It’s ace, I was totally amazed by it, still am! Xx

hey! yeah that’s right, i had the uplift and Ba, and i wouldn’t have coped without the declanfenac, tramadol and antibiotics. I’m still on the tramadol 2 weeks post op unfortunately, got only 1-2 tabs a day now when i get pain. I started off on 8 tramadol a day plus 3 anti inflams xxx

I had co codamol tramadol and ibuprofen x 6 days on still taKing them starting to feel much better wish I had known the arnica trick my bruising is quite bad 435 unders x
