Megan1988 – my story so far :-)

Always had small breasts but since having my little boy in feb this year they had got even smaller (i didnt think it was even possible!)

Been considering surgery for about 3 years but the thought of going for a consultation & getting my boobs out really put me off!

Think since going through child birth & everyone seeing my bits & bobs it made me realise that showing someone my boobs wasnt such a big deal.

Booked consultation & after a bit of re search i new i wanted mr kazzazi to do my op. I was currently a 32a, size 8, 5ft 9 tall & weighed bout 9 stone.

Suprisingly i have been very calm & the only thing i was worried about was which size impant to choose! Mr kazzazi had offered me 340 & 380 & i really couldnt make up my mind. (would just like to say thanks to all u ladies who advised me to go for 380, I LOVE THEM!!!)

Morning of op – My addmission time was 10am. Nurse came into my room to go through paper work about 10.15 & told me anasthestic guy & mr kazzazi would call in shortly.

About 10.30 anasthetic guy came round & asked me some health questions & told me i was first on the list (BRILLIANT – i was starving!!!)& will be going down to theater about 11am.

11am came & went so did 11.30 then about 11.45 nurse came round to say i couldnt go to theater untill MYA had faxed over my MRSA results as they are not in my file. I just laid on my bed & though here we go, no boobs today for meg!

But about 12.20 nurse came bk in to say they’d got my results & now i was next into theatre.

Mr kazzazi came to see me about 12.45 & did his art work & it was at that point i decided to go with the 380’s. Mr kazzazi said that was his reccomendation & i said i trusted him & agreed.

At 1.20 nurse came for me & walked me down to theatre, i was still chatting & feeling quite calm even tho i new i was going to be put to sleep! (dont no how)

After talking to the anathestic guy next thing i remember i woke up with boobs

I had tea & toast about 5.00 & other half came to pick me up at 7pm.

Finally left park hill at 10pm & called to Mc’ds on way home

Day 1 & 2- felt very stiff & little bit soar but kept ontop of my tablets & just chilled on sofa.

Day 3 – went out shopping & for dinner. Felt a little out of breath walking around but couldnt stand it in the house any longer

Day 4 – been shopping again & been to hairdresses for my hair doing as im returning to work tomorrow.

Thats my story so far

Ive read so many storys on here & they helped me prepare which is prob why i didnt feel so scared, so thought id share my experiance so far.

hi megan, great story..How are you getting on with lifting your arms?? i havent booked my BA yet, but am already dreading walking the dog afterwards as she is a handful and pulls on the lead alot.

I feel really lucky so far that ive not had so much pain.

I no some ppl get the pain the 2nd week tho so keeping my fingerscrossed.

I can lift them so they are out level (if that makes sense) but havent lifted them up high yet.

My other halfs really been looking after me & my little boy bless him.

I think walking the dog may be too hard in the first few weeks hun, i had a laughing fit today & got a stabbing pain in my right boob & it really hurt. felt like i was pulling a muscle. x

ps – just realised i never put anything about anasthetic making me feel a bit light headed. Before i was aloud home nurse said i had to go to the toilet for a wee. After id stood up & walked to loo i went a bit light headed & had to have 5 mins sat on the toilet. After a good sleep that night at home tho all the light headedness went. x x x
