Hi Janeella, when i had my ba and uplift last sept, my partner was at work, so we both stayed at my mums house for the first week, and my mum helped me loads, my son was only 7 months at the time, so it was harder, he needed to be carried everyhwere etc, so my mum helped me, she fed him and bathed him and also looked after my 3 year old. my partner wud then take over when he got in from work, but after 7-10days i started lifting a bit again, the surgeon advised to lift after 2 weeks!! it was hard as i felt like i didnt do anything for my kids, n they did go to my mum more, but they soon changed once i got better. But with you having 18month olds, they can walk and run around, so it should be a little easier for you, i think its harder with babies who cant walk! you wil def need a help for the first week, as like my son toddlers are wild and run everyhwere ha ha! but you soon heal, and feel better in no time!! you are ok cooking, and walking around, but its the lifting part thats hard and hurts, but you cud get your partner or mum to place your toddlers on your knee for you for a cuddle. I think though, any woman who has been through child birth, a boob job is nothing, you just feel brusied and stiff, and the pain isnt that bad, so i reckon you will be fine. XXXXX
