I just read soem of your posts and saw that you have had it done yay!!! What did you have and how are you feeling? xx

sharon- It has now been 2 days mate! I am kind a in pain but bearable. I had to call the nurse this morning as the right boob feels really heavier than the left one and it has sharp pain and so as it feels as if like the scar was ripping. The nurse was so good and telling me to relax my shoulder and my mind too. Hubby has been too good and assisting me in every way. twins looks great, but I am not too keen in seeing them in plasters.

How are you healing?

It was my right boob that i had probs with, isnt it strange alot of people have had probs with the right one for some reason. I had that pain that you are talking about, i would be sat down and it would come on me, used to take my breath it was that bad, i think it just went on its own.

I am healing great, it was 6 weeks wednesday just gone, i have been in a bit of discomfort since i have been wearing proper bras, so at night i take it off and sleep in my sports bra.

Awww are you glad you had it done? did you unders or overs and what size?

Sharon-I can’t wait to pass the week and start sleeping on my back. When did you start sleeping on your back or side? I am so fed up now

I had 380 overs. A bit feeling down due to pain and feeling useless at home. Hubby will be back to work on Monday and I feeling a bit helpless. Mind you though, my 16 year old daughter has been brilliant, doing lots of house work… I could not be any prouder!

I started sleeping half on my side and half on my back once i had my dressings removed, i found it too uncomfortable before then as the tape would catch my skin and and pull on it. I used pillows to keep me tilted on to my side just enough to get me off my bum during the night and i put another pillow underneath the boob i was leaning on, i found it really comfy.

The best thing you could do now keep is get out and about, i know it may seem unbearable at the mo but the quicker you can the quicker the pain will ease, it will stop your muscles from seizing up. Just before you go bed at night walk about for 5 or 10 mins the longer you can stay off your bum the more comfortable it will be for you. My bum ached like mad at first.

I had my boob job on the wednesday and was out walking alittle bit on the friday, by the saturday i felt pretty normal apart from some pain if i moved awkward. xx

becky87- I have not managed to take some photos yet. I am hoping to take some on my 5th day or the day before I have my plasters removed. I will let you know once I got them done. Today, wasn’t too bad. I am healing definitely!I have decided to discontinue the co-dydramol last night due to constipation. Replaced this with paracetamol & iboprofen.

Im fine thanks, go on my hols tomorrow….cant wait to get my boobs in a new bikin top lol. I had to buy a size 18 top and 8 bottoms, how mismatched is that haha. Looks good though. Boobs are getting softer by the day and changing shape. Scars are looking good too, so far so good!

I feel much better, but right boob is still in too much pain. Aside from that, boobs are healing.XX

hi keep, pain is anoying i no but all normal even at 2weeks post op. just take one day at a time. and you will always find- wel i most certainly did, that one boob hurts more than the other visa versa. happy healing xx

Angel19- Thanks mate…I think the lack of sleep and boredom is getting to me! I am a very active person which is making me feel useless too. 7 days tomorrow and will be out of the house for the first time. It might change my mood and outlook in pain. How long have you been post op?

ye i totataly agree keep, once i was no longer out of it i was bord out my brains exspesh wen i had no visiters and it was a nice day outside , it drove me nuts lol. It took me longer than i thought to drive and go bk to work as my job manick lol. I’m 5 weeks post op today feel free to see my pictures, i have more albums on sofem if u would like the password.
