Mid price v Top price rhino surgeons

Hi there,

I’ve found out that top price surgeons have more experience but what differences in outcome should be expected of a top price surgeon such as Dr Matti/ Dr Rowe as compared to a mid range surgeon such as Dr Oelbrandt?

Specifically in regard to first time rhino. I know that for revision surgery you need a particularly experienced surgeon but if it is your first time having rhino and your procedure is not too complicated what will you get from the top price surgeon that you might not from a mid range one.

Please feel free to share your experiences especially if you have had rhino with any of the above mentioned surgeons.

Just interested to see if you’ve looked into this anymore?

I’ve been doing tons of research on Dr Gonschior at MYA and Dr Matti at Harley and Dr Matti is a lot more expensive (I think around £7-8k) however one big thing everyone has told me to look out for is whether the surgeon you pick holds a FRCS in plastic surgery and that they are a member of BAAPS or BAPRAS.

Dr Matti is a member of all of those and Dr Gonschior isn’t a member of any of them 🙁

I am wondering if this is why he is so much cheaper? and its making me doubt whether its a good idea to go to someone a lot less qualified when its your face were talking about? im really confused 🙁 x

May I add Dr Gonschior is extremely highly qualified surgeon,
