Hi I am going to my consultation tonight 30th March, and i am so nervous and excited at the same time, which is weird. Does anyone have any advise, i’m adament i want a BA not 100 per cent what size as yet but fear going to small. How soon can you have the BA done once you have met with your consultant. Look forward to hearing peoples experiences
Sarah
Hi Shera I had my first consultataion on 26th Feb with a patient coordinator and booked my surgery date for 25th March, however I only met the surgeon on 18th March so it can all happen pretty quick.
Good luckxx
Hi Cheryl
Have you had your operation? what have you or are you having done? who is your surgeon? sorry bombarding you with questions just a little anxious with having my consultation later my hearts going crazy and my stomach is doing sommersaults. What does your consultation with the surgeon consist of?

I had Helena Antoniadou last Thursday for a BA and so far I am really happy. Helena is very straight to the point but I suppose that is her job. During the consultation which unfortunately I had to go to on my own as my original one got cancelled at the very last minute as Helena was stuck in theatre, I explained what I wanted to helena and she looked at me as if I had two heads as I wanted to go to a 32DD/E which I didn’t think was too big for my frame but I think Helena did she originally suggested a 380cc but then we changed it to 410cc. The following day I spoke to my PC as I felt that I wouldn’t be big enough and she ordered me a 460 implant as well so that I could make a final decision on the day, however Helena wouldn’t let me change and I am really glad that she didn’t as I feel massive, I know I am swollen and still taped up but I am currently measuring a wopping 34E.
I was more nervous going for the consultation with the surgeon than the actual operation.
Good luck tonight let me know how you get on xxx
Thanks Cheryl, i have just arrived home, i was petrified but having met Helena i have to say i feel so at ease i cant wait to get there and get them done. At first she recommended something smaller and to be honest wanted to go a little bigger at first she didnt seem keen but she was so helpful, i have asymetry and she was great with advice and really very thorough with her explainations, she is brilliant just hope i can say the same in 6 weeks i’m booked in for the 10th of May and i can not wait. Hope the swelling goes down soon for you and your not in too much discomfort xxxx
hi shera im booked in for 10th may at manchester, this will be confirmed after pre-assessment as i have diabetes. im seeing helena this sat and want to be a c/d cup, currently a 34a. size 12 and 5”8 just wondering what sizes you discussed with her and what shes ordering.
naomi
Hi naomi,
I have a fairly bad case of asymetry so i am infact having to have two different sizes, my right breast is considerably bigger than my left, so i wont know what size my left will be until after my surgery, she mentioned using an inflation technique which would measure what size would fit to even them out. Costs an extra
I had helena, she’s not a fan of massive boobs, I’ve never heard of her going above 410s!but she was fab during mine!xx
Had mine in dec, so just over 3months post op now!had 410unders and went from 32a to 32dd/e!xx
Hi Shera
Glad you liked Helena. Good luck for May

Hey girls,
Nice to see a few more peeps choosing Helena rather than all this Adamo and Kazzazzi chat all the time!!
I had Helena do my op 7 weeks ago and I have to say my scars are SOOO STRAIGHT they’re perfect! She was fab! She’s very ‘business’ like in consultation but when I went to the hospital she was very chatty smiley and warm! She did refuse to operate on another girl for a few hours tho as the other girl had a slice of toast that morning and you’re not allowed to eat before a ga as it’s dangerous – I was thus reshuffled to the top of the list (of 2 bas that day but possibly some other ops after us) and had ten minutes to get into my gown before the nurse would come to take me to theatre….. GOSH what a nerve wracking day that was!
I’m so so SOOO glad now that I’ve done it finally. Wish I’d had the nerve to do this ten years ago..!!!
GOOD LUCK LADIES STILL WAITING!! ( . )( . )

Hi clareee
I was originally booked in to see Mr Khan Aurakzai, but due to a family emergency i was switched, to be honest i felt happier instantly not sure why, just had a good feeling. Having had my consultation she was fabulous, and very honest about what would suit me, I was so happy i did not hesitate to book in for the earliest appointment i could get. I have read lots of comments about her work being neat and precise. I have unfortunately not been in a financial position to get my BA done before, so far am very happy with everthing advice and support etc… roll on the 10th May. Can you take your partner with you on the day of your surgery does anyone know?
