    Hey girls.

When did you start moisturising after the op? I’ve read from lots of girls that it makes them softer and bigger?

I’ve also read that moisturising before the op is good?

And finally, this might be a random question, but what brand of moisturiser is the best to use? Or does it not matter?

    xx.

I massage the breast but avoid the bottom area. Bio oil or a cream…. Keeps the implant free if done over to avoid cc. Xx

I think she means massaging the breast with moisturiser might lower the risk of CC.

aoifex – CC is when scar tissue forms around the implant because your body is rejecting it, in which case you have to have it taken out and replaced.

I’ve been using cocoa butter every day for about 6yrs so I don’t know how I’ll cope 3wks without it!! xx

Ohh I see, thanks jessbell. So moisturising can avoid CC?

I’m gunna have so many questions like this to ask at my pre-op! xx.

I think it’s more about the massaging rather than moisturising, although I’m not a doctor :) but I moisturise by breasts anyway so would just give them a bit of a rub while I’m applying it! xx

It just keeps the scar tissue from hardening around the implant so want to keep it nice and free. X

I didnt wait 6 weeks till moisturising…wasnt told otherwise but jeez, my new boobies were soooo tight and shiny at first, I was using cocoa butter about 5 times a day! Didnt want any stretch marks. I just avoided the scars :)
